I couldn't get it to work with daz+ for a day. But I could get to work with 10 for 3.49.
I just finished a transaction using the SAVE-XTRA coupon and it worked as expected. I had "Muck Monster" selected as the Spotlight item first and a bunch of G8 Goodie Bag items. It ignored Muck Monster (a Daz+ item) and discounted whatever the first four G8 goodies were as I picked through the cart, discarding a few along the way.
Besides fastgrab It also excludes DAZ+, memberships, and gift cards.
when you see one price on a sales page but on checkout the price increaces still got still and even though only few cents still not advertised price seems to happen a lot with the lightning deals
...well it also doesn't work on the Grab & Go either even though the promo says nothing about that (the G8 Bundle is neither a Daz+ or Fastgrab item). This is pretty lame.
Apologies but some of us actually are on a tight budget and need to get savings wherever we can, particularly with the unexpected price increases in this sale.
At least your not Australian at least I asume you're not, anyway for us it costs a lot more sometimes almost double the amount at least between + half to 3/4 extra our Australian dollar to US conversion goes up and down a lot that's where being a plat member helps me a lot so any saving bonus helps a lot otherwise I could never really afford anything or rarely and even then

New Zealand too...my cart yesterday was $42US, $70NZ...ouchy!
Toon Cockroach seems to be stuck in FastGrab, It has been there for weeks.
...at least there are new items in the weekly freebies after nearly a month..

...yeah I've been around for a bit, but the ones that kept showing were the same for several weeks wiht no changes at all.. Today the entire selection is completely different.

Does anyone know, at what time the expiration date of earned tokens moves forward to the next day?
From my own experience, I know it happens sometime between 5:30PM and 9PM Daztime (which for me is 2:30AM to 6AM)

No. Cleared the cart and got the gift card instead.
I would have thought 90% off on brand new pro bundle and pegasus bundle would have been something you would have gone for. I was really happy getting the, the pro bundle, pegasus bundle, WW outfit, and 1 textures add on for one of the outfits for about $34.
If they had come up with additional incentives like banner discounts for buying previous G9 DO characters, or additional flash sales for pre-G9 stuff, but looking at the $70 cart that had $830 worth of items... It just didn't get my blood pumping...

This year's sale has been rather uninspiring compared to previous ones what with the price increase on the D+FAD and BYOB categories along with most "new release" items being for G9. I'e pretty much been bypassing most of the daily sale categories except the 50% Off Daily Specials (which gives Daz+ members an extra 30%).and occasionally the "Friends Of" sale.
Hence not amassing as many tokens as I thought I would which further reduces the chance for better discounts.
Ah well.
I went ahead and bought the cart I had from earlier. I don't know where I'll ever need a winged horse but at $6, sure, I'll have it around. And while I have no use for the character - I don't use characters - the Olympia bundle for $20 had enough to make it interesting in conjunction with other discounts.
ETA: And in 18 minutes, I find out what I should've waited for ...

Probably a great thing for people with lots of tokens who have bought Horse 3 and intend on using Generation 9. Nothing of that fits on me, so it's $ 34 (+ more) saved for me instead.
The D+FAD cathegory has been full of items that I probably would have been unable to resist at $2 or $3, but at $4 or $6 I'm passing because those extra few dollars add up real quick. Today is no exception.
Then again, I spent quite a bit last Sunday. I guess it evens out?
Today's offers didn't get me even try building a cart, 100% of store credit saved for the weekend unless they come up with something really good before my bedtime (afternoon at Daz HQ)
Yeah, same here. I put some of them in the cart, then ponder whether I really want to pay that much, and yup, the answer is no. Especially with the extra cost of a buy-in (since spotlights aren't a daily thing, that adds even more cost). But then, I probably already spent too much on stuff anyway.
Unfortunately the sales are all based around having 8 tokens. Most of the sales are total MEH if you don't have 8 tokens with just a few exceptions. So if you want the best deals you have to play the token game and spend more then before the tokens were a thing when you had to spend $2 a day to keep your stacking bonus going. Also, the BYOB category is a total joke in comparison to what it was last year. Not only is it pretty much the exact same items over 6 months later from last years sale, but it is also 2x the price, being $5.99 instead of $2.99. And it can't be reduced in price by tokens which makes no sense to me. Many of the items in that category we could have bought for cheaper a few weeks ago with stacking discounts and coupons then the BYOB price.
Yesterday I managed prices I am happy with, but today I don't see anything I want to use tokens or money on.
One of my pet peeves is when Daz puts an "add-on" item on sale during Day 1 and then places the original item on sale during Day 2, the opposite of how it would logically work.
