    Yes, I know, I shouldn't have gone overboard like this, but it's the last two months of my full-time job right now, which has been really annoying right from the start, and I felt like I wanted to get something nice out of it today blush. Just did a last cart to spend some tokens already, and I can share pics of that at least. Ooooh, what a ride it was ...!

    Final tally for me: 169 items, at about 90% off for the cart. In terms of numbers, the majority of them were poses. After that, it would be the transportation items: some boats by PW and Faveral, and pretty much every pre-1950 plane that I didn't have. (The Faveral boats vastly pre-date my story - I mainly got them because I think they're cool and with this sale they were sooooo cheap I couldn't say no anymore. My official stated plan for them is to create wall art for rooms, so I don't even need to worry about retexturing them for that purpose.) I pretty much completed my era-appropriate DarkEdgeDesign collection. I ran across some older items by Sugatak that in whole or part look useful so I got several of those. Then there was an assortment of other environments, buildings and rooms by numerous PAs. (I would've gotten more Stonemason stuff, but as luck has it, I had just bought the last of the Stonemason stuff that fits my story and settings in a recent sale.) I usually use sun-sky, but for the price, I bought several Orestes HDRIs for night, sunset and dawn settings - not sun-sky's strength. It was a good time to fill out my collection of birds and animals. Then there were a variety of clothes and hair items, also from several different PAs. I usually use shaders, but at .36 each, I even bought a few textures that I particularly liked for things I have.

    And there it is in a nutshell - my day of spending way too much on this sale. laugh Hope everyone else had as much fun as I did, and happy creating!  

    Yeah... Now I need to figure out, what to do with 42 tokens... cheeky

    Final tally was 131 items for $160 (MSRP $3210) for my second cart, the first one was just 11 items for $20.67 plus a $165 gift card for $132.
    My product library here at the site got almost 5 pages bigger yesterday.

    Looks like they want to effectively stop the DAZ+ sale before it's even really started - these prices are just INSANE. Sorry, but not playing.

    ...yeah, managed to get a few more things off my wishliset and use my coupons.  No "massive" carts like others here mentioned as it's too late in the month financially.for that.

    What do they mean with the "Double Discount Daz Originals"?

    If the Extra 30% off refers to DAZ-SUMMER-SALE coupon, why don't they say that and why is that information and the items in two places if that's the case...

    @doubledeviant Thanks for sharing! smiley I didn't even look at the bundles initially until I saw your post! You convinced me to get the reptilian bundle - though I have no idea what to do with it yet... Haha. Keiko 6 is great. I have her and have enjoyed working with her for NPR renders.

    Yeah, the Polish, Faveral and Stonemason stuff started filling up my cart quickly! Hmm I wasn't getting the texture packs as low as 0.49. Sigh. Must have forgotten something in the juggling. frown

    @paulawp (marahzen) I think my haul was a bit similar to yours. Got an average of 90% off the cart and got transportation, environment sets, birds, animals, and odds and ends. I think I've already forgotten what I got... cheeky Ah, textures at 0.49 and now at 0.36? I obviously wasn't looking at things properly. I started shopping late, so had to stop at DAZ midnight and call it a night. (BTW thanks for sharing a link to your gallery in your signature. I enjoyed looking at your renders relating to the story you're working on! yes)

     

    Which has made be decide to be bold and ask the rest of you (now that I know a little bit of what you're getting), what kind of renders you make with them. Whenever I see @PerttiA and @tsroemi mention their DAZ shopping in the forums, I confess I'm curious about what renders they might be creating. laugh Hope more people will link to their gallery pages or other places where they showcase their work in their signature or somewhere. Again IF and ONLY IF of course one feels like doing that. But I'm sure I can't be the only curious cat who enjoys checking out everyone's style and what everyone's making. wink

    And thanks everyone! This was the first time I was 'shopping a DAZ sale as part of a group' by discussing what we got etc. It was fun! laugh Though of course, if I had not visitied the forums, I wouldn't have realized the sale was that good and wouldn't have traumatized my wallet. surprisecheeky

     

    EDIT: And yeah, the start to the DAZ+ sale is really uninspiring. But after all that shopping just before, I'm happy to a take a shopping break for a good while!

    ...and no "unconditional" freebies (no "buy in" needed)?

    Been waiting months for this sale and so far seems to be starting off with a loud thud.  Yeah this may be my last year. Hoping things will improve, but not holding my breath.

    It would've been nice for the Daz+ sale to offer classic discounts (cheap BYOB, grab bags, etc) as a contrast to the Memorial Day sales, for those who don't like the "big cart sales". But for me personally, after a large weekend purchase, I wasn't looking to spend much this week anyway, barring truly spectacular deals or releases.

    It would be cool to have a chance to use some of these tokens (32!) before they expire to get something here and there for a nice price. Hoping to see a few interesting releases or flash sales through the week.

    I wasn't so sure about buying the Street Punk Bundle for Genesis 9 because I already own many urban style outfits - not for G9, though.

    I had to buy my annual subscription anyways , so I did to get a nice discount. Now I'm happy about it since the outfits mix very well as separates with one another and the hair is better than expected. Nice bundle, very cheap with the double discount for Daz+. Cheers.

    The standard Daz + anniversary is in "October" (actual dates vary by length of PA sale), the last few years we have had a June-ish promo like this one, a lot of the bundles and so on are catch-ups on previous octobers but there are other deals of more interest to established members. I am not sure what you mean by the spring Daz+ sale.

    the buy ins end the thrill. nothing much really drives me to buy in the starter DAZ+ sale. WhT'A THE BEST PRICE , WITHOUT TOKENS OR daz+ COUPONS, THAT THE URBAN BUNDLE CAN BE HAD FOR.  soory about caps. 

    G9 is really being sold now. Even DAZ+ is top heavy G9. 

    the buy-ins are G9. I do like the new bundle. Right up my alley. Y've been staying strong not buying G9 but the temptation is pulling hard.

    Same here. And you are correct on the old BYOB & D+FAD prices. Disappointed but not surprised on the D+FAD, as they have learned we will buy $3.99/$4.99/$5.99 coupon deals. 

    I won't have the spare cash until end of next week for a membership but with the current deals I am okay with that.

    I also need to play with new stuff I bought during the weekend sale. (If I can stand to sit at my computer with my case of WTH-Is-Going-Around.) Wasn't a lot but I am happy with them:
