Well lets see Robert, there were to cool Tom Danials designs, like the Garbage Truck, the Paddy Wagon, the Beer Wagon, the Twin Mill, The Silouette, the Deora, and who can forget, the Red Baron!

Yeah but it was the Weird-Ohs that came to mind as I had visions of the big headed bug eyed driver from those models

I had in mind "The Munsters" they had a similiar rod like that one.

Pizza is good anytime, but picture it, your just getting to the beach after sunrise, you and your girl have some pizza and Cokes left over from the night before, ya gotta eat breakfast before you get the surf boards off the roof rack and head into the shark infested waters of the Gulf!

And it appears to be just backwards of what it should be, typical 60's rig!

Here is my newest project I have been woring on for a few weeks now

I did a couple different versions of it because I just could not make up my mind which way I wanted to go with it then took one of them into GIMP and played around with it and this is what I came up with:

    Titled: Car Display By Mandy

Titled: Car Display By Mandy 2

Titled: Car Display By Mandy Boop

    Nice color coordination, there!

Changing the colors on the Roller Diner Waitress outfit was just an afterthought, just as I was getting ready to start rendering, good thing I looked more closely, as the default outfit wouldn't have looked right at all!

    Really nice work

...lovely though one small nitpick.  The pickup on the right of the scene appears to have it's right rear tyre floating above the ground.

  • GLWoodardGLWoodard Posts: 3,335

It was done in iray, since the overall scene is done using the Iray Skydome Superpak, @kyoto kid, It appears that way, but it really is just the lighting, I tried to lower it a bit, and the tire started disappearing into the ground!

..so a quirk of the HDR then?  Could you maybe adjust the Shadow Bias a bit?

It is such a wonderful scene but my eye caught that almost immediately.
