Yep, the Weird-O's as well, I had forgotten they made plastic models of those as well, I remember when Aurora had made models of the Beatles too!

Nice scene
Pop the roof, extend the shift lever about 4 feet, and Ed 'Big Daddy' Roth's "Mother's Worry" would feel right at home driving it.
That looks a lot like the model I made when I was young...it had a character called Rat Fink driving it. I think that was the name. Maybe Rat Fink was only on the box cover...I can't remember for sure now. It was in the mid to late 60s. The tires were cool...they weren't that hard plastic, they were more realistic, had some give. They had the Thrush decals and the googly eye decals, Hurst decals, checkered flag decals, I think flame decals. Anyway, it looked a lot like this car.

That sounds like the one I was remembering. Big head, wild eyes, goatee. I still can't remember if it was part of the model or just on the box design. It did metion Rat Fink, though. That sticks out in my memory.

+1. Beach party!
Dana
..not your "dad's" Oldsmobile.
...love the fact it has "British" drive (RH).
..Big Daddy Ed Roth hot rods.
Ready to Head Out!
By far the prettiest BMW ever, the 507 designed by Erich Goertz.
...agreed.
Indeed!
...nice
PC died yesterday - living online via ipad... at least I did a backup the day before.......no renders for a bit
Ouch that sucks
...bugger.
Sorry to hear that, hascart.
Dana
Thanks... the good news is that the hard drive is intact.. dropped it into an external enclosure and plugged into. Y old netbook... yep.. files are intact, will save me quite a bit of work!
That's good news anyways
I had that happen once, took awhile but I got a new PC eventually, and now have gone beyond that one by one!
Glad to hear it! Data loss is the worst in these situations. And loss of applications that can't be replaced easily.
Dana
Now all I need to do is figure out how to recover my Daz stuff to the new system....
Large thumb drive? Do you have a wi-fi network? If so, maybe you can just copy the files...maybe one folder at at time. Create the folder structure on the destination, then just copy the contents over. Large thumb drive would make that easier, though.
Dana
Yes!...I do...thanks.
Mainly George Barris models with Monogram. I had most all of them.
Rat Fink!....the big gear shifter ball...hahaha.
OMG!...it's "Big Claudy"!....haha. Nice render.
