There are already a couple of decent Nova's out there, even one here at DAZ 3D, so I tended not to worry about using the ones from GTA.

This GTA conversion drove me nuts - really bad case of weird material zones and flipped normals... Still after much hair-pulling, this was the result

I know how you feel from when I converted a lot of Star Trek models for use in Poser and DS.  Model conversion can either be real easy cause the original modeler knew what they were doing or it can be a complete and utter mess.

Nice.  Odd power line, though.  What is the road set from, or should I ask...where is the road set from?  Was this done in DS or somethign else?

The road is from the Road 'n' Rails set for Terradome 3, and the scene is also done in Terradome 3, the powerpoles are by 3DC, and come with a scene that I purchased from Renderosity, the trees are various models, but many of them are the Tree Scapes backdrops available at DAZ, the entire scene was done in DS.

Oh, so I'd need Terradome 3 before even considering that set.  OK, thanks.  But I was wondering...what happened to the powerline, on the left?

That scene is a work in progress, and no, you don't need Terradome 3 for the Road 'n' Rails set to work, I use that all the time with the Iray Skydome Superpak myself, in fact I had that before I had Terradome 3!

As for the powerline, I guess I should really add another part of that prop to it shouldn't I?

I actually have that Road 'n' Rails set in my wishlist, along with Terradome 3.  But...too rich for my current economic status.   frown

I had to wait for Terradome 3 to be put into the Fast Grab to get it, I already had Road 'n' Rails, since it was much more affordable, and I remember at the time wondering if it would work with the Iray Skydome, it will work with just about any scene, as its really just props, they are also all morphing props.

Maybe it will go in FastGrab at a really good price someday.
