Our snowbirds are still heading north, now they have stopped to Check the Oil and Get Gas!

    ...lovely.

So where did you find the Airsteram?

  • GLWoodardGLWoodard Posts: 3,335

Thats how I got it, it wasn't cheap, good grief the set is around $50 retail, but at 70% off of that, it comes out at a pretty decent price, I think I only paid around $15 or a little more for it myself.

There's an Airstream over at sharecg.. might be of use?

  • GLWoodardGLWoodard Posts: 3,335

I'll check it out, I did get one from the 3D Warehouse a few years back, its a smaller model than the one from Powerage, but more versitile.

    The sharecg Airstream..

Not too bad, perhaps a wee tweak over the door, but still useable - basic interior as well...

Over at contentparadise , they have the old meshbox Airstream for 9.95.. looks nice, had an opening door, interior, and snow caps for those winter scenes..  pocked it up, will work up a render.. of course, the materials will need to be tweaked or changed for DaZ work...

    Gettin' Old Sucks

Here I am, always wondering when it would get here, I always knew getting' old sucks, I remember when I was young, the old folks would always complain about how getting' old sucks! Its strange in a sort of way here, we can restore a 64 Impala to be much better than it was when it came out of the Chevy factory in 1964, but I can't go get myself rebuilt to better than new specs, Noooo! Not at all, all I can do is make do with what I got! Which now a days, seems to be a lot less than what I thought I had!

Then on top of that, I got this old hag I met somewhere, can't rightly remember which bar I was in that I met this old barfly, must have had one too many drinks that night, can't seem to shake her at all, all she ever does is bitch about this, bitch about that, I bet she'd bitch if I hung her with a new rope! Now theres an idea, a lot of places to hide a body out here in the wilderness!

I need a set of white lettered tires. I need the kind you used in the Black Impala render above GL. Grand Prix Radial G/Ts. I am doing my 60s Ford Pickup and I used a 1970 F100 which is almost exact. I have these tires on mine in real life. I need to find some wheels like mine too. Mag like with round holes around them. Chrome. But If I could get the tires like those, it would help 100%. Where did you get them?

not a bad little rod, but that last promo image? as a retired railroader, I find that one not only offensive, but very irresponsible!

That is from the 68 Nova by ADR Speedworks, I'm betting you have the car in your collection somewhere, since DAZ still sells it.

I had to have this one it reminded me of the weird hot rod models I built when I was a kid can't recall the names of them

Weird-Oh's is what I was thinking of

Well lets see Robert, there were to cool Tom Danials designs, like the Garbage Truck, the Paddy Wagon, the Beer Wagon, the Twin Mill, The Silouette, the Deora, and who can forget, the Red Baron!

Yeah but it was the Weird-Ohs that came to mind as I had visions of the big headed bug eyed driver from those models
