March 1 is on a Saturday this year... so maybe they'll start with a weekend thing? Or maybe it'll be like December where they didn't actually start things off until Monday...
Starting March Madness on that Saturday sounds feasible. For March let's get a Celtic character bundle. I'd like a character who can rival Victoria in her medieval-ness, too. Extra points if it comes with a unicorn or another mythic creature. Or even a centaur shape. We need more centaur love.
I would be happy if some things on my WL were included in some aspect of March Madness. Hopefully a nice representation of the broad span of themes in the DAZ store would be included.
A unicorn was released somewhat recently for Horse 3.... but I took one look at it and was grateful I'd caved and gotten the one for Horse 2 instead of holding out.
If we're going Celtic mythic, a selkie would be prety cool.
Yeah, we need a better Unicorn for Daz Horse 3. I'd be on board for a selkie, too. Anything majestic, really.

As a point of interest, the Tara 9 Starter bundle just came up in my LD. I think that's the first time I've seen something pop up that I remember as being a new release. It might just be the luck (or lack thereof) of the draw, but I know folk sometimes wonder what the limits are on how old something has to be to qualify. Pity there was nothing in the bundle I wanted aside from the character, and even then it's more of an "eh, maybe" than a true want.
But I got my Ivar Viking and Joan bundles that I truly wanted last December, so it's hard to feel too put out.
I'd be happy if we could get all the common real animals first. We haven't had a realistic goat in the store ever, the closest we got was the Capricorn "goatfish". There are plenty of storytelling uses for goats too, everything from children's fairytales to supernatural tales of witchcraft or just to fill out the barn yard.
+100, a proper goat would be so great! With male and female versions, and little ones. Maybe even different breeds. I'd so love that!
This Build Your Own Bundle is pretty disappointing. The bundle item selection is extremely limited. It's actually a really good idea...if we had things to choose from. And even better if it came with a new Daz Original character, with Daz Original items.
And I would also like to see a good goat asset.
Same opinion here. Good idea and not too bad a price, but I would hardly call it a "selection", its 17 items.
That goat would probably come for Horse3, so.... meh... but if Predatron comes up with it (and other LoRes animals) you can count me in.
And the BYOB? Well, these seven words killed it for me: "Include any "Rustic" New Release to get:" - the only product among those new releases that interests me are the riverboats, but as I don't do pictures of english channels I have utterly non use for them... still a nice product
Yeah, it's just an very strange setup. I enjoy bundles because of the themes, and putting assets in there I that I may never even done a search for in the store. The included, thematic assets can be a good thing because of my spender mentality of "I could maybe use this one day." And sometimes that really happens. I have an "AHA!" moment and remember an outfit that came with a bundle a while back. It's great when my addictive spending comes back to help me.
And this isn't limited to just character bundles-I love those the most, but sometimes we get some great things, like the Filatoon Shader Bundle. Calling random things "Rustic" and having us make our own bundle with barely any options? Sorry, Daz-not buying any of this stuff listed today.
Yeah. I'm with you on that. I was hoping for a new character release today, since it's been two weeks since Elena, but... I may have a hard time using my character bundle coupon this month.

Agree with you Charlie and @MissLeah. I was anticipating a character bundle today based on recent trends. And now I'm stuck with a free bundle coupon that might get wasted-one of the better incentives of having, Premier, too.
I would have been on board for a new Daz Original character, and just give us a big list to choose from-like 2024's most popular items. Still not a great option but at least we'd get a new character and could potentially wittle down our Wishlists a bit. I don't need a imited list of $4 items, I need items that are good, new (or close to it) and can inspire my creativity. I'm willing to pay a bit more for the better stuff.
I might have felt tempted to get something today with BYOB, but the releases are so unappealing to me, it's not going to happen. I'm not paying release price for something that not only I will never use. On top of that, the prices for BYOB do not stack with coupons (even though there's no mention of it in the description) which makes me even less inclined to even browse.
Speaking of coupons, I still have both of my Daz+ membership coupons as I found nothing to use them on. Maybe March Madness will start early, and I'll have a chance to use them on something, but if not, this is one more argument to not extend my membership when it expires in a few months.
I certainly hope the mods are communicating our disappointment over these recent promotions. Today hits me the hardest because even if the rest of the week wasn't exciting, I could at least count on a Thursday release to be either intriguing enough to drop some money with coupons/tokens or a good enough sale to accumulate some products I've had my eye on for a bit.
One of the good things about these boring sales is that I'm doing a lot more rendering, and working on projects.

I tend to cash in on a good sale and buy a ton of stuff at once. Its been lacking for awhile. So far this month I've only purchased on 1 day --$11. 7 days in January, 2 days were $1.89 each, so really 5 days. 14 days in December -- something was going on that month. It was unusual for me to do that. Yeah, anyway, I used to try to hold it under $60 a month, but it has crept up near double that, but is a direct reflection on pricing and sales.
If there was ever a day to prepare for something interesting in anticipation of potentially spending, it's on a Thursday. I'm disappointed by today's promotion. My spending's been down this month, too. We'll see if March Madness happens and that stays the same case next month.

But hey, my discount chocolate stash was quite pleased with that turn of events, so...
My last tokens expired a week or so ago, I no longer have Premier, and I have no desire to build tokens up at $15 each. I'll stick to buying items as and when I have a need for them, and without tokens, that could just as easily be in other stores. Spent nothing this month and can't imaging picking Premier up. I was going to say again, but I traded in Daz+ for the months I had and never really picked it up anyway. I still remember Daz+ being devalued and am running empty on trust, so I'm also not enticed to gamble with Premier for March Madness. I think this could be me until the PA sale.
That sounds glum, but I'm really enjoying not engaging with the store beyond seeing if there's anything I may wish to wishlist as a bookmark for the future.
ok just curious in my lightning deals is Josie 9Mega Bundle and says it is inactive has something been removed for some reason or are some of the content being reclasified to Editorial License

I figured it out! All this stuff we've been grumbling about the last couple weeks? It's the Super-duper Genius March Madness Marketing Strategy! After another week like this, whatever MM offers - as long as it doesn't look like February's deals - is going to seem amazing in comparison & we'll be throwing money at Daz. / s
Seriously, I doubt I will be spending much next month, no matter what Daz comes up with. And it's unlikely I will get another Premier month for a while, unless Daz adds more bundles to the free selection since that's the perk I always use.
Heh, well, I had no problem sitting out "big" sales before when they weren't favorable. Hoping this doesn't prove to be another, but if it is... well, so be it.
