Yes literally a few blocks away, they reckon the print and media will be in production in 5 - 10 years, the media is interesting,  long chain polymer tech from an adjacent technology institute :)

...something like this would work well for my hybrid lifting body airship concept  Just coat the entire top with this material to generate power for the onboard systems.  Still would need some type of battery storage for operations at night. Would need something different than L-Ion due to the risk of overheating. Granted neutral buoyancy would be provided by helium cells but the risk of fire still is a serious danger in any aircraft.

I wonder if you could swap fuel cells in and out of an all weather dirigible, I saw a converted passenger jet they are using for a. water bomber, the fuselage is gutted and they load prefilled water tanks into it for a quick turnaround, was womdering if you could do the same with an airship.

is't not just the weight of the whales, it's the water.

...most likely.  The design I have is more suited to long haul passenger and/or cargo operations.  As the craft works on a hybrid neutral buoyancy/lifting body concept, removal of helium cells would not be advisable. Buoyancy is adjusted by compressing helium into lightweight spherical filament wound cells rather than bleeding it off into the air.  When helium is compressed, it loses it's lifting capability.

The main propulsion is provided by hybrid turbine/electric ultra high bypass engines.that switch to fuel cell power for cruise.

The cargo version could easily be fitted with water tanks.

Yeah this is what happens to an aeronautical designer who spent years of study, never made it into the field, but still follows the technology.

Wish I had a scanner, I'd attach some of the drawings.  Need to get much better at modelling to create a 3D version.

Complaint: When I'm in my account, in the dashboard, and click on the link at the top My Wishlist, this is what I see.  There is no vendor filter list, and where it says Sort by, there is nothing but space.  I have to select Wishlist from the little blue person with checkmark in the upper right in order to get the filters and sort options to show.  I've complained about this before, to help, and was told what users hate to hear from programmers or the help desk...it works for me.  Not acceptable.

That's really strange, they both go to the same URL.  Have you noticed any other paranormal phenomena?  Maybe someone is trying to contact you from the beyond?

This is the only issue with the dashboard, really.  Everything else seems to work just fine.  This issue has been there from the start, and this is the kind of answer I've gotten.  Must be me...must be someone trying to contact me from beyond...must be my system.  If it is my system, why does it work at all?  Yes, it looks like the same page, but there must be some parameter(s) being passed from the little blue guy that are not being passed from the dashboard menu, or vice versa.

OK, it seems to be a Firefox thing.  I have the forum and my account page both set as home pages in Firefox, so they load and stay open when I start up Firefox.  I usually leave it running for as long as the computer is running...which is all the time for days or weeks at a time, although I do put it in sleep mode when I walk away from it for a period of time.  So Firefox is all I've ever run the forums and account page.  Although, I thought for sure that I tried it in other browsers before and it was the same.  I've become less and less enchanted with Firefox of late.  I try not to open new tabs in it anymore, I go to Chrome for pages that I will open then close.  Firefox has an issue with opening more and more pages and closing them.  it starts to slow down and go unresponsive for several seconds every ten or fifteen seconds when that happens.  It's really annoying.  I can be scrolling down a page and suddenly it stops scrolling, and you see the unresponsive message in the top, then it comes back and scrolls some more, repeat adnausium.  Emphasis on the nausia! I'm sick of it.  So I open all new temporary pages in Chrome.  And lately, Norton Identiy Safe isn't working in Firefox, either.  Really annoying!

Still, this may be a clue for the programmers...it is a problem in Firefox.  I've done the hard refresh, and it doesn't help.  Perhaps I'll start using Chrome for the DAZ pages.

It does sound like some troubles with Firefox.  You could download MozBackup to back up your Firefox, uninstall it, clear out all your leftover settings, and load a clean copy, and see if that fixes some of the issues.

Sounds like a lot of trouble.  I'm not even sure I could completely clear everything.  I've had issues in the past with uninstalling things in Windows.  Sometimes parts of them stay and there's no uninstall help at that point, because the system sees that it is not installed.  It's not something I want to try at this time.  Maybe later on at some point.  I have Firefox set up to clear the cache when it closes.  That has never made a difference, either.  I'm leaning toward moving these tabs to Chrome.  Unless there's an issue with Chrome and the site that you're aware of.

I don't use Chrome, but I haven't heard of any issues.

...have to do the same with my wintertime war scene.  Finally worked out how to do snow on a vehicle and make it look right.

Still need more details in the blank blue sky.  Wish the PC/ PA coupon was good on new releases as Stonemason's clouds would work so well.  Haven't been pleased with most HDRIs I tried (plus have to guess at the orientation as I cannot work in Iray view mode without Daz crashing).

mmm....coffee, may head to at the local cafe around the corner before going on my ride.

    humid, stormy

it was a dark and stormy night

One year during college I stayed over the summer break when 90% of the rest of the campus was empty.  I was living in the dorms but had it practically to myself.  I only had a couple of classes so I had some extra time and decided to try my hand at writing a book.  It started out "It was a stark and dormy night..." devil
