need to get sleepy soon. workie tomorrow.  will have to make it thru 5 days in a row.
weather page predicting more snow. 2-4 inches whensday, 1 inch tomorrow.  snowcones!

My area is expecting 8 to 12 inches tomorrow.  Last week they said 4 to 6 inches...we got 9 inches!  So I wonder what we'll get this time.  I'm not looking forward to it.

So, how's the weather down there, ps1borg?    laugh  laugh  laugh  laugh  laugh

    Dana

    humid, stormy

it was a dark and stormy night

One year during college I stayed over the summer break when 90% of the rest of the campus was empty.  I was living in the dorms but had it practically to myself.  I only had a couple of classes so I had some extra time and decided to try my hand at writing a book.  It started out "It was a stark and dormy night..." devil

    ...hehhehheh.

...have to do the same with my wintertime war scene.  Finally worked out how to do snow on a vehicle and make it look right.

Still need more details in the blank blue sky.  Wish the PC/ PA coupon was good on new releases as Stonemason's clouds would work so well.  Haven't been pleased with most HDRIs I tried (plus have to guess at the orientation as I cannot work in Iray view mode without Daz crashing).

mmm....coffee, may head to at the local cafe around the corner before going on my ride.

mebbe a shot of irish coffee cheeky

macciato coffee with cream and a shot of whisky can kinda put Humpty Dumpty back on the wall after a hard day at work :)

    sounds fantastic.

in homor of old westerns drink from tin cups. lol.

    dunno if tin is healthy.

..,well after a bit of shopping,  rode up to the old 'hood and went to a couple of my old hangouts.  Wonderful time, particularly at the German pub wher eI had several half litres of Hacker Pschorr.

Guess there was a football game on today.  Watched part of it then strategically missed the  halftime show heading up to the German pub. Crikey, I don't know any of the musicians they have perform today.  I still remember when the halftime show featured college bands, dancing footballs, and was only 10 minutes long.

Funniest commercial was the Toyota bank robber one.  Best one was the one about domestic violence.

Is warm and dark and city lights are shining orangey-yellow onto thick cloud cover creating a ghostly pallor on the skyline you could imagine all kinds of goblins springing out of at the stroke of midnight :)

Tin by itself and non-organic tin compounds (its oxides, sulfides, etc.) are not particularly threatening. smiley Human metabolism does not require tin in any significant manner. indecision  HOWEVER, if tin does get into the metabolism as an organic tin compound (its alkylides, ethylides, etc.)  it can and does interfere with the reactions that iron and copper normally perform (eg: blood and nerves & brain functions) sad.  Organic tin compounds in significant quantities can be as poisonous as cyanide. surprise A once frequent source of organic tin compounds was from tin plated cans that contained acidic foods like tomato if the tin coating was not protected from the acid by a coating of lacquer.  Regulations and manufacturing methods have made this possibility much less likely now. smiley

In short, don't drink tomato juice from a tin cup. enlightened

bittersweet heart aches something awful watching this,
but at the same time i feel my love for him lifting my spirits

he would've enjoyed all this snow.  he was graceful, leaping like a deer
