Is this some kind of "find the new link" game ?  And if so - are there prices or rewards ?

Not for me; but maybe a cache issue.

I have the problem too, but it's solved by both solutions offered here (or in the reporting thread, don't remember): Shift+F5 for a hard refresh of the page or opening a new incognito window and grabbing the link from there.

    Here's the current one: https://www.daz3d.com/grab-great-deals

I need to clear the cache after every change to see the new one.

I would not mind better collections of items (bummer that I missed one from yesterday) plus Tokens finally working on those offers. - Either give the discount or have a disclaimer that says no discount stacking. But even that would be not logical as we had quite some $3.99 -> through buy-in $1.99 -> approx $1.20 after tokens sales recently.

The disclaimer is there for me, has been for the last three or four I think.

  • I've tried everything and can't get it to update from the previous link.

  • This seems like a good of a month as any to conquer my Daz FOMO problem. I'm sure my wallet will approve.

Maybe I can use the time currently spent scrolling to see if my Wishlist items are on sale to actually make some art...

If you want them at 1.99. Otherwise they're 3.99.

Thank you Charlie and PerttiA for posting the links. I have been checking almost every 2 hours and it really doesn't refresh. I het the items at $3.99 for 2 hours and then for the next 2-4 hours it's the same items but at full price. I have looked on my phone and on my laptop. Same results. But the links you 2 have posted have worked nicely. Thanks again.

Since there no longer is a banner ad, I wonder if DAZ really wants to sell items with the Lightning Deals. They are now hard to find and not well promoted.

  • davesodaveso Posts: 6,566

    there are still lightning deals?

And they are supposedly curated, but I have no idea what criterion they are using...

At first it seemed like being based on ones purchase history, ie. if one had 'bought' all the freebies, it meant one just loved 20 year old obsolete add-ons for equally obsolete characters.

It has gotten better though, and when stars align right (items can be found also in some other offer), one can get pretty sweet discounts for them

Lots of offers but not good enough, 88-90% off at best per item, cart at 83% off... 100% of store credit saved wink

Edit; Nice try with the flash sale, but no bite...

So, are the 12 bi-weekly freebies just a way to prevent the algorithm from learning that we are indeed interested on more modern products ? angel

...finally received my pension deposit and as I expected, back to "ho hum" sales again that require themed new release "buy ins", most of which aren't all that interesting..

Getting closer with the second flash sale, but even with the Daz+ coupon, only 87% off and it's past my bedtime...
