Right, I just noticed I posted in the wrong thread, so here it is again (the discussion thread was not a good idea):
No discount for buying both bundles, when the most expensive item is in both of them? It's a lot cheaper to get one bundle and just the items from the second bundle (24.89 for the items vs 32.01 for the (Aroon) bundle).
Also there are 2 items listed along with the Xiu Lin 9 HD and Aroon Bundle items that aren't in the bundle, instead of being in the additional new realease section. Are those supposed to be part of the bundle?

Anything on this issue?
Today's banner leads to yesterday's sale again.
Yes, reported.
The new page should be visible now.
The "if you bought featured items" part of the Bonus Grab Bag offer doesn't seem to work properly today: I purchased newly mad and stil mad releases two days ago and don't see the discount on those items. It works if I add a newly mad item to the cart though.
Will report.
If one picks the bi-weekly freebies before collecting stuff from "SUPER-SAVING" Flash sale and applying the coupon, the first six freebies go up to $1.99 when the coupon is applied
The 'Install Types' for today's Daz Easter Egg - DD PBR Metal Grille Shaders for Iray Vol 1 - 1 of 4 | Daz 3D is empty on the product page, and there are no download links available on my Product library page.
Reporting.
Users accidentally losing tokens isn't technically a bug.
I've managed to narrowly avoid this, but it's because of a very unfortunate UI design.
When you are making a purchase all your tokens are on default applied to the order automatically. Next to the token amount you have this tiny "+" and "-" to increase or reduce amount of tokens. To avoid spending any tokens you have to lower this to zero.
^This part of the UI is tiny. I can imagine how someone with worse sight or shopping on a mobile might not see this clearly.
Either default amount of tokens should be zero, or this should to be made larger and more readable.
They are not automatically applied. Even your screenshot says "apply to cart" not "applied".
From what I've seen and tested, what causes the problem is: people fill the cart, apply the tokens, and then dump the cart without removing the applied tokens first. The next time they put something in the cart, the token are already applied, but the button also already says "applied". Changing the value with +/- (for example to 0) will change the button "apply to cart" again.
I agree that the interface could be a bit better, but to not lose tokens it is enough to remember to change the value to zero before you dump your cart. Or do your checking before checking out.
Having said that, there also might be some glitches or actual problems in the accounts that cause tokens disappear outside of these circumstances which I'm not aware of.
They ARE automatically applied. This green rectangle is just a decoration, you can click it... But even if you won't it'll add them. It's the plus and the minus what changes the amount and unless you use this tiny minus buttonto se zero there, they will be automatically applied.
I write from practice because I tested it.
This is how it looks if you reduce it to zero:
Then you spend no tokens (and yes, you can click apply and it won't change a thing, it's the green zero what matters).
It needs to be fixed because not everyone is paranoid with user interfaces.
tl;dr The green confirmation button does not work. If the green amount of tokens is not reduced to zero whatever tokens are there will be added to the order regardless of the order value (even if the amount paid is zero).
(Chrome on Android)
Visit the Daz store each day to collect a new Easter Egg
Collect all 4 in a series to get a FREE* Item!
If you collect every Easter Egg in the month of April, you’ll also get a bonus Item FREE!*
4 eggs = 1 free product
all eggs = +1 free product
So probably we are speaking about 5-7 free items for April which is a nice change for PC+
And it's probably not a bug you don't get anything for 1 egg.
Tokens must be told to apply. They are not automatic.
Although PixelSploiting could be seeing different behavior using another browser, perhaps, or for some other technical reason.
Well, some people lost their tokens and I sacrificed one out of morbid curiosity (Win 10 PC and Chrome), so something definitely is not working as intended.
I was agreeing with you.
Honestly, I'd like to see your actual testing, because my experience and the experience of other users seems to be different. The button works as intended. I agree it might be a bit confusing how, but it does.
Let me show you my steps.
I'll be working with Muelsfell Modular Dark Dungeon ("the product") as it's not new and it doesn't have any other discount for me at the moment which would make it clear what is apply. The price on the product page is $29.99.
I only have 1 token at the moment, but that will suffice for testing. I also have no store credit, so it should make the data clearer.
1. I put the product in the cart. The price is $29.99. The coupon window says "apply to cart", so the token is not applied. The discount is 0%. (screenshot Cart1) Thus, the tokens were not automatically applied, and we could finish here, but let's keep going.
2. I apply my coupon to the cart. The price is $23.74. The coupon window says "applied", so the token is applied. The discount is 5%. (screenshot Cart2)
3. I press the little "-" sign beside tokens. The button changes to "apply to cart". The price and the discount remain unchanged because I haven't clicked "apply to cart". When I do, the discount will go to 0, the price will go up, and the button will change to "apply to cart" with the maximum number of tokens (1 in my case). (screenshot Cart3).
4. I reapply the coupon for further testing (so we're back to the state of Cart2, $23.74, 5% discount, and the button saying "applied"), and then I dump my cart.
5. I add the same item (for the sake of the testing, it could be any other item) to the cart and the price is $23.74, the discount is 5% and (that's the important part) the button say "applied", and not "apply to cart". (screenshot Cart4, but could really be Cart2 as they're the same).
So the tokens are not automatically applied, but once applied by the user, they stay applied to any other cart they might start after the previous one.
I decided to clear out some stuff I already own from the store by taking advantage of the "PLUS get them for just the price of the Items you don't own" bundle deal today. They tried to charge me 81 cents for the Freak 4 Bundle after telling me "This product includes the following products ...and you own them all!" Sigh.
Michael 9 HD Action Bundle $67.19 (-58%) - before added to cart
Michael 9 HD Action Bundle$159.99 $56.00 65% Off - after added to cart
I already own:
Adding up the single prices of the three items I do not own it: roughly 29$ (not in card, where I would get an additional discount)
So, what is the point in buying the bundle?
Sometimes the bundles include additional items that are not separately sold and do not have a product page of their own, check the list of items included, if there are any with no link to a product page.
For example Victoria 5 Pro bundle (https://www.daz3d.com/victoria-5-pro-bundle) has "V5 General Poses (15 Victoria 5 Poses)" included, but there is no product page for such item.
In this case, I'd buy the products separately, and they buy the bundle for $0.
Thanks. That explains some of the more expensive things that happened as I went on. But I cleared out about 100 starter bundles that I won't have to wade through any more for nothing, so this was nice.
One issue with your testing, Because I agree those tokens should not and do not apply automatically on NORMAL orders, my Issue revolved soley around purchasing Gift Cards that Required a "BUY IN" item of 1 dollar or more. And during THOSE two orders (one I lost two tokens, and the next lost 8 takens) they absolutely did automatically apply on their own. I don't believe i had applied the two tokens i lost to any cart before buying the gift card, and during the purchase of the second card i tried to be VERY Careful to make sure it didn't happen again, I paid specific attention to the green button, had dail the tokens down to zero, and before placing the purchase mad sure the green button read "APPLY TO CART" and not "APPLIED" and yet, it still took my 8 tokens on that order.
So Again I have had ZERO issues with NON-Gift Card orders, and had no problems with Gift Cards that didn't require a "BUY IN". Considering that you could originally get tokens for buying gift cards during that first week they were introduced, and the fact that now you can't, it's clear they changed some code on what happens during GIFT CARD orders (I didn't buy any cards that week but wish i had ;) ). Needless to say support was kind enough to return my first two Tokens that were taken, but basically gave me the middle finger on the next 8 I lost. That does not sit well with me, as it WAS NOT operator error and had EVERYTHING to do with bad coding.... luckily i had 5 tokens left after the next 8 were essentially STOLEN, so i only had to waste $30 to get back up to 8 for the full discount.
Also not trying to single you out buy any means. just pointing out that what your testing isn't really addressing the REAL problem, and even today Gift Cards are back but don't require a buy in, However it could be possible to test with having 1 item in the Cart and a Gift Card and see what happens. But i Would not recommend that any of US do that on purpuse becuase you will have to actually PLACE that order to find out the results of the test, DAZ on the other hand should test it.
******* More add after Edit
To be clear, this problem IS NOT front facing, it's happening behind the scenes/screen, when the order is placed. The "Use Tokens Tab" can say "Apply to Cart" meaning you HAVE NOT applied your tokens, and you can still end up losing Tokens when purchasing a Gift Card with another item in your cart.
On a side note, I know many of us see the use of all caps as screaming, please do not read my use of caps in this manor and consider them as used to add emphasis only. I'm not screaming at anyone ;)
I think this is what happend to me. I played cart jenga including tokens, then decided it would be better to first get a freebee, thinking I did not apply any tokens, I lost 8 tokens while getting a freebee. I did not get stuff I otherwise would have, and decreased my spending even more as I was already spending less because of the steep buy-in requirements on a lot of deals. I'm still upset about it especially as MM is coming to an end and Customer Service still hasn't done anything about it. My tolerance of these kind of things is coming close to a breaking point where I will just stop get new Daz stuff all together as G9 is not for me anyway, and I really don't want to deal with CS anymore.
If Daz pressures us to play cart Jenga, they should make sure the system works for the customer especially when introducing a new system.
Actually, I think I managed to miss tokens not being cleared between different iterations of the shopping cart because I was also browsing and calculating prices for a few old G3 items before.
Anyway, the system should be designed to not allow to apply any discounts to zero value orders regardless of how the tokens got there. Zero value = automatically rejects any tokens. This would be taking care of such problems.
I applied 2 tokens, but nothing happened. The bill has been $ 20.66 before and after, it was $ 20.66. This is the second time the system 'eats' my tokens. Really unpleasant.
