I may have posted this here before - my two gangster-era related works.. (although there is an evil mimes piece in the works)

Broken image links, and blank areas...Page Not Found when I click on the area.

huh -- works here.. but just in case.... here we go again..
...nice. particularly the second one. I'd put that through a filter to make it look like an old photo.
Did you upload the images first?
I did, and I thought I linked them properly....
Aged as requested...
I didn't see the attachments at the bottom of your original post, thats why I asked, they have to have a link in order to show up, and it can all be done while editing the forum post. What I did here was simply copied the link when I viewed the full size pic, and pasted it into the image window, then resized it to 800.
ah! thanks.. I'll have a go at that next post...
So.. Like this?
hmm.. so how do you get the "image resized...." text at the bottom?
Yep, it doesn't matter if the attachment is in the same message or not, just so its somewhere on this website or any website that has a link to where the pic is stored, as for resizing, there is a line of menu boxes on the left column of the image window, it includes boxes for both the width and just highlight the height and then set it to 800, that will resize the entire pic.
Great renders by the way!
Thanks! - now off to work on those evil mimes! and perhaps a cop car to chase all those other cars in my renders,,
said cop car..... in my test cube setup...
Okay, now I see you didn't upload a the render, or didn't attach it, or your using an image hosting service that just isn't coming through, your getting the size right alright,
Thats odd.. as the pic inline links to ---- https://www.daz3d.com/forums/uploads/FileUpload/2d/090378fbab071d53e0d8ad4e2e6080.jpg and when I click on the inline image it goes right to the full size one.. I think I'll stick to plain old attachments at full size... that at least seems to work... eh?
What I have been doing is attaching the file, and posting, then editing the post to use the uploaded image url in the image box dialog, and then deleting the attachment - that's the way, right? or is there a better way?
Cool, I see those. I think I remember the second one.
Dana
...excellent
No, you don't delete the attachment, leave the attachment in place! The attachment is what gives the pic its webpage!
Vacancy!
Thanks!
I'm not sure if this is helpful or not, but a while ago a made this thread for posting images:
https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/59113/an-ot-thread-for-images/p1
You can make a post to host images there, attach a bunch of images and then link to the image in whatever thread you want them to be seen... So thumbnail there, full size here (or wherever).
I don't know what the limit of number of images per post is... I think someone there has around 17 or 18... But you can use one post for multiple images over a period of time, since the forum software allows you to indefinitely edit your posts over time.
Cheers and beers- Vic
