    Nice! Good atmosphere!

Is that bike Ansikos new vintage motorcycle? The one that;s billed as a Knucklehead, but is really a Flathead? and has the tool box set up as an oil tank? and an external seat post spring? (minor nitpicks I knopw, but back in the day I ran a cut down HD ULH flathead...)

Yes it is, I got it for $6.11 after all the discounts added up.

    No, that's a Marley-Danison, lol, I believe it's supposed to be a Harley 45 cu flathead.

I have that Indian bike.  I got it before they pulled it from the store.  They're not getting it back!  laugh  Not that I've ever used it.  I think it was billed as being a Bryce item, but maybe it can also be used in DS.  Ah, just looked and it's even in my Product Library!  It's called Indian Summer.  Not as hefty looking as your bike.  Slimmer.

Lucky you.. even with the current 30% discount, puts it out of budget for this month... and by the time the 15th rolls around, it will probably be up at full price.. the joys of a fixed income...

Looks like it could be a decent model with some tweaks... really good bike models are not in great supply..

It was really out of my budget as well, even at the current discounted promotional new item price, then I opened up the product page, and it was down to $8.97, then the additional 30% discount kicked in, I would love to get the Genevieve 7 Pro Bundle myself, and its certainly cheap enough with the discount, (I looked at it in the shopping cart, then cleared the cart,) but still a little much for me to afford.

But once Christmas is over, so are the deals, then everything will be full price again, unfortunately, it appears that on many of the new items, the prices seem to be creeping up, and now not eve so slightly!

Thnaks for that one.. Looking at it, I may try to find a better vintage HD model.. looking at the details, there's just too many little things that are wrong enough to bug me no end...

It turned out cheap enough for me to go ahead and jump on it, I'll grant you that there are just too many things about it that are just, a little off, I've also got his VW van, which isn't all that great either, but when they are cheap enough, I usually can find a use for it, and might end up being able to enhance lesser models from the parts on this one!

Santa's New Sleigh - Did this render in Vue about 7 years ago. Created the hot rod in SketchUp. I painted in the Santa figure using ArtRage.

Yep, actually, the idiot driving the chevy hit his brakes for no appearent reason, and almost got to become a hood ornament on the Ford, so Tresne is leaning on the horn letting the jerk know she ain't happy bout that!

    Surfer's Paradise

Rendered in Vue Complete with postwork using Photoshop & ArtRage. I modeled the truck in Hexagon3D. It is losely based on a 1950's Ford Panel truck.

I later used the flat head V8 in my traditional style hot rod sedan.

Rendered in Vue Comlete a few years ago in 2011. 1961 Corvette is from 3DWarehouse which I converted into a gasser via kit bashing. The driver is a DAZ character.

Post work was done in Photoshop & ArtRage.

Nice render, some cars from the warehouse never seemed to work for me, but then, others kitbashed just fine.

Grobo Car - A futuristic hot rod I modeled in Groboto3D (90%) and finished in Hexagon 3D (10%).

The car is influenced by my love of hot rods, American cars of the 1930s to 1950s and foreign sports cars.

    I did this in 2016.

The car was textured using shaders in Vue Complete 2015. It was also rendered in Vue Complete. Slight postwork in Photoshop 2015 CC.

You mean this one?...Yup, I gave this one away for a prize. 1960s it is. I had to change the coke logo due to copyrights. It works for me.

That isn't the Coke machine I have, and whoever made the ones I got on the Warehouse didn't bother worrying about how Coke viewed the modelers use of their trademark!

Salt Shaker  - A vintage high performance hot rod stripped of any unneccessary body parts to reduce it's weight in the Salt Flats of Utah.

Rendered in Vue Complete. The hot rod I purchased at Cornucopia3D.

Oh, I remember those eye decals!  Had them with that model I mentioned when I was a kid.  I seem to remember a decal of a woodpecker, too.  And, of course, flames, and an oil company logo or something, and a fuel additive.

    Good stuff kenmo !

so I did pick up that vintage bike.. I wish there were more material zones, that way I could transparent out the saddle bag frames.. and it’s a pity the wheels are oval (try rotating them for a motion blur.. the bone needs moving to the axle point, and then.... oval wheels...)

i may run up some tank textures using real HD graphics from the 40s...

still...it’s not as bad as a lot of the bike models we see around...
