WIP.. Superbird! Still needs work..
Cool actually saw one of these going down the highway the other day went by me as I was exiting
Thats no surprise, most of them didn't survive the 70's! LOL, Tis a good lookin' car though!

BTW, all of the old Nationale7 stuff, now goes mostly by 3DClassics is now 50% off over at Renderosity.
Nice. Did people really put those fronts on Chargers? Were they street legal? Safe? Just curious. I can see how it would make the car more aerodynamic.

Thanks, I didn't know the vendor name changed. I wonder why? I have a lot of his(?) stuff in my wishlist over there. Maybe someday I'll be able to afford to get some of them.
Dana
Came that way from the dealer never did see very many of them on the road but yeah they were street legale Appearance was mostly cosmetic
Thanks for the response. Interesting. I don't think I've ever seen one. Maybe they weren't popular in New England.
Dana
I've seen a grand total of five two in Dallas ,two in Sherman just North of Dallas, and one down here in Harlingen
I saw several while growing up, one of the kids I went to school with, his parents had one, like Robert, I haven't seen too many of them, maybe two in person, if you watch Graveyard Cars on Velocity, then you tend to see some getting restored.
If you have them in your wishlist, then you will notice the name change, thankfully, they all come with obj files now too, those are separate downloads, but it sure makes it easier than exporting a new obj out of DAZ studio so you can work on it in Blender!
I don't know the reason for the name change, other than maybe its more than one person making the models, and they have since split up for whatever reason, kind of like Vanishing Point and Digimation.
Thanks for the heads up, picked up the T-bird sport and Studebaker Starliner..
I paid full price for that Stude when it first came out, its a nice mesh to be sure, the T-Bird, while a nice mesh, is a little more involed when you do some material presets on it.

I decided to work with the raw obj in Blender a little bit last night, that mesh for the complete car is like 78 MB, that is a pretty heavy mesh to be sure, as it turned out, I had to do a smoothing operation in order to smooth out the body lines, not anything difficult, I just haven't had to do it in awhile, I changed the wheels to the wheels that come with the freebie Eldorado, which turned out to be pretty nice, I've used these wheels on several other cars as well, they don't dissapoint.
Was playing around with some boys and some vehicles for the PC render contest, decided to show it here too. Was fun to work with, though seems I have a older version of the Llamaghini Amenazador which isn't in the store any longer. Version 2, roadster and add on kit for version 2 is there but not the one I have lol

Nice. I had a model of a very similar car when I was young. It had, I think his name was Rat Fink, with it. Or maybe it was a different name, but that one sticks out in my mind.
