It isn't that there are issues with scripts and connect, it's that there are methds of file handling that work with Conect and others that don't - it's also true that testing Connect-safety in advance is an issue, as far as I can see.
Just reporting that whatever was going on with the manual download for the update seems now to be fixed.
Ha - I'm no expert on installation issues. All I know is that if things are in the correct directory relative to the user's content library things will work. Using Daz Connect and Smart Content can sometimes work and can sometimes not work - and why that is is not something I as a PA am equipped to trouble-shoot.

Hi! I double checked the installation because it was suggested, but the log I attached says there's an error due to a specific line in the script. This seems to be the case no matter where I install it or what method I use.
Aha, this seems to have been it, thank you very much! I'm not sure why I was skipping over that, but my brain has a lot of mysterious holes in it haha. That explains why it worked sometimes previously!
I'm gonna have to go and put something in to fix that - disable the build button until a feature is selected or something.
@DoctorJellybean
That's really nice, and clever. I don't believe I remember those structures (???)
Thank you. The cottage is IN Fantasy RiverCottage over at Rendo, and the platform\roof is from Lakeside Folly and Rooftop Terrace.
That's an interesting idea, I like it!
I thought it did default to "No Feature"?! (I'm amazed I've never managed to trigger that error myself.) Sounds like the best plan if it is possible to do it.
First of all, that was an instabuy. I love this as I love all of your works!!!! I was so happy for the Harpwood one too, I already had the Harpwood. And can't wait for an Evergreen version maybe with some mountains around and the cherry on the top if we could get a more customizable feature with our own plants. Still we would love to get another exciting features and variations :)

Hmm, just curious, but would it be possible to add an advanced control section for the features like road/river/path so there is a way to specify the width of them in the workable area. So for instance instead of a single lane, there is an option for a double lane or even more ambitious a crossroads with various options. I created the following, but it was through scaling up the Ultrascenery Group to 145% for a project I gave myself to do. Great Product and happy to be using it!
I'm creating some ecologies using Andrey Pestryakov's awesome pine trees from Nature Trees Pack 4 so there will be an option for evergreen forests soon.
Thanks for the heads up on the upcoming ecology. Now we can shop for the required product and be ready when the UltraScenery addon arrives. It looks as great as all the previous ones.
This is one of those crazy pictures that took on a life of its own. It started with Harpwood 2 and a fairly flat terrain with the intent of adding the Outpost in a clear area. Before I knew it I had UltraScatterPro scattering other plants and UltraTree putting an evergreen in the background to fill a gap. Then a Porta Potty jumped into my scene. How often can you find a use for that? What are flowers without butterflies, so I did a volume scatter with them. The Outpost was a little drab so I added some graffiti decals. There's a metal cup on the steps and a bicycle wheel amid the flowers. There's an old antenna on the roof, but it is barely visible if you know where to look.
Edit: Oh, yes, I forgot. I added a dirt geoshell to the Porta Potty and an old piece of wood leaning against the Outpost. What else did I forget?
Oaks, Pine trees and Tango Alpha's promised set. My credit card may never recover!
Cheers,
Alex.
Treehuggers? Very nice and clever.

Off the grid, for sure.
Had wishlisted the trees for later but I think ill go ahead and get them now! Thanks for the heads up!!
I just starting getting the "tree in the middle of the pond" issue that others mentioned earlier. Never happened to me. I have the latest DS and the latest update to this amazing product.
I tried several ecologies including Harwood but still getting the same issue, default settings or not. I deleted the tree props that were outside the UltraScenery group, and DS crashed and burned once; other times it didn't crash, but not sure why this is suddenly happening to me.
Oh, as an FYI, as of last week I installed the latest version of Octane for DS, but I don't have it open or have it set to automatically update. So this is not an Octane render.
The Still?
Wonderful work @barbult.
Darn! I wonder if I have one.
Not something I can test - but I seem to recall that folks who even just had Octane installed (and not rendering with it) were still having problems with instances. The fact that it is on the system provokes the problem.
Since Harpwood Trail comes with material presets, I applied the green preset to a couple of the tree objects that get instanced, to add some color variety. The woman on the chair is a billboard and blended in amazingly well for some quick foreground interest. I've become fond of using UltraScatterPro to add some additional plant variety (dandelions this time).
I bought them today to. I'm ready for the next addon.
Am I mistake or do the Harpwood assets slow things down? I went from a 1070 to a 2080ti and found that the former with the basic Ultrascenery was a lot less laggy than the latter with Harpwood assets.
Ok, I disabled Octane, restarted DS, and ran USC, and no tree in the middle of the pond!
