    Another nice crop of images.

Here's a simple one I did today - same terrain, rotated in the second one and with an added UltraScatter of some water plants.

I love the ducks and extra plants in number 2. I love looking at all the images everyone posts.

It's pretty hard to make a bad image with UltraScenery. Well , I suppose if you leave your camera under the terrain.... Nobody would make that mistake, right?blush

    Fantasy in the Forest

I've been playing with the JSON files and maps to create a clearing in the forest by the river. Once you have a clearing, you have to put something there. The flowers were added with UltraScatterPro. Monique is a billboard I made a long time ago. I like how colorful it came out.

Purchased the new presets and installing now.  Very excited.  Congratulations Howie and Tim.  Hope the sales do well for you.

Personal goal - learn how to manipulate the JSON files in order to control distribution maps for custom terrains, hopefully.

EDIT:  Here is a quick render of the lake/island preset with scattered oaks ecology.  It comes with two docks.  I added a G8F Ai character for scale reference.

Another browser-scorchingly fast entry into the shopping basket.

The number of possible combinations of ecologies and terrains is rapidly reaching the stage where you need a Cray to figure it out!

    Cheers,

    Alex.

Haha, something that's rapidly working it's way to the top of my todo list is to be able to filter the Features and Ecologies by Name, Author, or Package as they are starting to get long and require quite some scrolling.

it all just keeps on looking more awesome and unobtainable to me crying

even if I did buy all the packs my computer would burst into flames and still not render enough frames for an animation

I miss you Howie in Carrara broken heart

one day when I can afford that rack of 2080ti cards I might buy it all

At first I love your roseate spoonbills render :D

You can add your pine trees if you already have some. I made it on this scene with the bear. And didn't use Ultra Scatter for this. Only the UltraScenery.

I still need to learn the tweaking better, but I had some great results. I made 2 river intersection. So made 2 versions, but it is really hard to work with the feature heightmap ... but will try more and more. I want to create a river alongside with path, a lake with path and I still want to insert my own flowers to the library :) But now only 2 rivers here ... you can see the result with the deers. However now I used a really high contrast height map for the terrain with hills, so the second river is not so visible on the left side ... and you can't see, but the camera is on a little half-island. This is a 14 minutes render. (Click the attached image to see the 2nd river on the left side)

But still love the new packs, so I will get the Bundle ASAP.  Really ... generators are the best. Even if the features are same for everyone, we still can create total different scenes. I love this series!!!

Well, I knew I was saving my store credit for something... and a three-in-one too!
(In the cart and looking forward to playing later, assuming I can get the new version of DIM to work)

The palm trees do not look as realistic as the rest of the vegetation. They look like plastic props. Just a nick pick because I grew up around palm trees in the caribbean. I am still going to buy, though.

I had the same thought about the palms (I'm from Florida), but sometimes you need an environment for toons. It could work.

Thanks for the comments. Below is edited version of the similar render...
