Thanks for the tip; I'll have a look there.
This was my thought, and why I picked the character up. The G9 male chest situation is so odd, I really hope he's going to represent a partial solution.
Since that are meant to be zombies, why is the product not called LA Zombie for Genesis 9?
Ghouls are undead, but look different to zombies, or at least they did in the D&D monster manual, which is the ones I know best.
ghoul /ɡuːl/
noun
noun: ghoul; plural noun: ghouls
1. an evil spirit or phantom, especially one supposed to rob graves and feed on dead bodies.
2. a person morbidly interested in death or disaster.
Origin: late 18th century: from Arabic ġūl, a desert demon believed to rob graves and devour corpses.
Because the idea of a ghoul predates D&D
Holywood "zombies" are more like ghouls than traditional zombies, or even the animated dead of D&D. And ghouls are quite a bit older than the nineteenth century, see for example the Thousand adn One Nights, though those are somewhat different from the modern version (more a kind of djinn that lives in graveyards and so on).
I would like one, just one, male shape that doesn't have this under & between breast shape. The mesh is denser here, so I don't know if it's possible without geografting a chest without the mesh density in this area.
What do you want there?
Potato, tomato.
Visually speaking, I imagine ghouls to be more ethereal. I mean, spirits and phantoms are. But it's all good; I have a soft spot for undead of all kind. And necromancers.
Ergou sure has gone an interesting direction with the naming of their characters.
We've run out of actual names, from now on it's all "cat on the keyboard"
Well, at least with that Ergou figure you know there won't be a name collision with the installs of any of your other figures ...
(A sore subject to me because I actually have to rename actor icons sometimes; if I install, say, Lynx, I am looking for her in my custom hierarchy of female figures under L, not C, so I have to rename the actor from "CJ Lynx." This has been a problem a couple of times and I had to, for example, rename one of my two Imani actors to "Imani FWSA" so she wouldn't get stomped on by the other Imani I installed later. I don't imagine anyone will have that problem with Qebg.)
In unrelated news: SickleYield's Hat and Hair Helper for G9 is finally out!
Let me repeat that louder: SY'S HAT AND HAIR HELPER FOR G9 IS FINALLY OUT!
Two weeks after I needed it, for sure, but that's not SY's fault, and I will definitely need it again in the future.
DS is now adding a code to the name, to make colisions much less likely.
You can take my Stetson. From my cold, dead head.
Nice Sondheim reference!
People wanting military-esque outfits have been served what looks like a viable posibility today. A lot of the requsite bells and whistles too, if you go through all the packs.
Lyone's stuff is quite good.
What's a "Cardell"? Quick search didn't bring up anything.
The product does look great. Adlmittedly I'm unlikely to buy it as I already have similar-ish stuff and I'm not super in need of more military outfits. But I did put the bunde on my wishlist, it does look very cool and one never knows.
Another sci-fi set with loose cables all over the floor. I hate this overused trope. The idea that a bunch of scientists or space marines are just going to leave cables and uneven floor panels everywhere so they can trip on them is ridiculous. I refuse to buy any sci-fi sets that have cables laying around everywhere. They should at least be pushed along the sides of the walls/corridors, but instead they are always layed out across walkways everywhere. And every single sci-fi set by this PA has them. Sorry for my rant, but I've noticed it for a long time now, and its become a pet peeve. It seems like this PA has a "loose cable on the floor" fetish. If my space marines are running through corridors fighting 9-10 foot tall aliens, the last thing I need is for them to trip and shoot a hole in a fusion reactor.
Stonemason mostly believes The Future Is Filthy, and only occasionally produces a The Future Is Shiny set, and I also think The Future Is Filthy so I don't buy the shiny ones for use in my SF stories. Cables on the floor, broken vents, etc are a part of the Future Is Filthy aesthetic.

That said, I wish that he'd give a little more information. It is POSSIBLE the cables can be deleted from the scene or have their surfaces turned off, but you have no way to tell from the store page. Me, I'm focused on the fact that (having a lot of sad history with Stonemason sets on this) those elevator doors probably do not open ... and again, no way for me to tell without buying the set, and that's an expensive gamble. I suppose I could go to the readme in the wiki and see if the detailed file list offers a clue. This is not just a minor gripe; the elevator doors not opening would significantly reduce the usefulness of the set from me, and takes it single-handedly from something I MIGHT pay twenty-six bucks for (not without wincing) to something that I'll wait for a deep sale on.
you didn't get the NICE-LIST banner that lasted 12hours?
I still didn't buy it but it was 51% off with it around $13
that was the 1st thing ithought of -- yep, i'll be falling on my head. I thought overall it didnt lend much more, if anything, than any previous similar product.
I've just gotten that banner moments ago. Not terribly convinced 30% off will amount to much, but I'll see.
Yesterday I had a banner for 65% up to 10 items, but I passed as the curated items, of which there were a lot, were all base price and didn't stack with anything but the 20% off wishlist buy-in (unfortunately the main wishlist discount was also a code). The best I could get was 80% off.
Excellent thought, but I used up both the NICE-LIST offer and the Build Your Own offer yesterday!
Was just coming in to say "looked at the file list and it looks like the cables and the doors are separate," but was beaten to it by the authoritative source :P
HA HA! Made me laugh out loud (at work) I know the struggle is real - I've contacted vendors/PAs when they made a new character the same name as someone else and it jacks up my content library. NOT that I expect them to somehow know every name ever used and then use something different. Hence, "The Struggle Is Real". But yeah, "Qebg" - Wow - not even sure how to FAKE pronounce that. "Queue-Bag"?
