takng Catamaran's Road Gypsy for an Iray ride, Had to convert figure to prop to split of the disc brake mat zone as the Geo tool wouldn't select anything in CR2 mode.

Here's another Riviera..(1969)
Experimenting to try and get the "studio shoot" look for car pics.. Using OOT Renderspots background model, IBL Master with an HDRI, two distant lights and two spotlights, rendered in 3Delight. Not perfect yet, but close..
They use huge soft lights for those studio shots. Diffusing screens that are as long or longer than the car itself. That's how they get the long highlights without odd shadows or hotspots. I had softlights and umbrellas for my photography work, but none that large. Didn't shoot cars, just people and still life setups that went on my table.
