    Tommy Likey!

The really nice thing about these movie sets, they work okay in Iray!

    Thanks GLWoodward,

Have been toying with the idea of making Studio versions of the city blocks andf the low poly blocks as well.

    If there is enough interest...

    Tom

Thanks.. Model didn't smooth as nicely as I wanted, and getting the textures converted was a bit of a pain..

Now that you mention it, yeah can see some jaggies, but I think shaderwork looks great! You converted to SubD i presume? Did you try to adjust smoothing angle in the surface tab?

  • hacsarthacsart Posts: 2,025

it came out worse in SubD - textures were originally .dds, and at least the conversion to .obj kept the mapping ...  this was a bit more work than usual, but its not that bad in the end,,

I'd buy.   I have a few of the sectoins with houses.  It would be nice to be able to turn off all of the antennas easily and I tend to add 3d trees and shrubs rather than use the posters.    But I'd probably take it in any form:)

    yeah! I'd support that!

The only issue I have is the grass and flowers in the front and back yards of the nieghborhood sets, it all comes out completely flat using the Poser files in DAZ Studio, the houses and buildings come out fine!

And yes, as soon as I'm out of these financial doldrums, I certainly would support getting the Movie Sets for DAZ Studio.
