Now nothing says sci-fi like a fight in slime!
And with mechanical tenticals!
Exactly!
Gosh, that is amazing- so vibrant! Your background goes perfectly with it too. Goo time! Excellent splatters. Should be on the cover of a SciFi magazine. Seriously.
Thanks! I really liked rendering the goo. I'm sure Sarge is less than pleased, but it was so much fine, I certainly will do another. I like color a lot. I think I finally have a good use for Ron's Milk product. =-)
Okay, Here I had a chance to render with DA glowing eyes Iray edition. Very nice product! Highly recommend. I wanted to use some cybernetic products I bought for the ladies at Rendo. The fit works pretty well on the guys too. I dunno, the belly dial reminds me of the one on my dishwasher. =-) This is Michael Boyd Technical Officer.
LOVE the slime! Great render. Love the eyes as well. I think I have those. Am going to have to check
Both products are a lot of fun. Would definitely reccomend! Thanks for the nice comments.
I just happened to stumble on this thread last night, and I power-browsed through the whole thing all last night and this morning. What's cool is that I can see your work getting better over time - not that any of it was bad to begin with. And, I'm impressed with your endless sources of inspiration! Great stuff. Off to work now. :(
Thanks SauronLivez for the kind words!
Duplicate post.
Here, I wanted to render Sarge with some different hair. Later in his life his hair is longer and silver and he is paler due to an alien encounter.
I also wanted to use SickleYield's restraints. Sarge doesn't look too worried about this situation though!
The soldier outfits got distorted when I used them on genesis 2. I had to keep them in shadow so you cannot see how badly the ammo belts look. I think that set really has a lot of potential.
Here I wanted to try jut a fun action shot. I went back to 3delight for this one.
He clearly has escaped his restraints lol. I like the look of him older you did a good job giving him a somewhat older look.
Thanks Ice Dragon Art!
I was playing around with female bodysuits. This one, I think works pretty well for the guys I do wish the groin clamp was a less distracting color, but photoshop could be employed to fix the accented groin area.
This is http://www.daz3d.com/sci-fi-body-suit-sf-001 by Smay. Lovely piece of work.
This is the new Spaceship Crew Room. I like it! Lots to explore here. Although a bit tough to move around in.
Also this is the rear shot of the SF Bodysuit Sf-001. I used M3d's Spandex morphs from his new Hero pack which is excellent by the way.. The outfit is more distracting than Sarge's usual bulky armor.
I like the lighting in the Crew Room, looks very realistic. I had to laugh at that orangey groin clamp, yep, it's pretty darned noticeable! Like the bloom/glow on the elbow, nice touch!
Thanks! I am pleased how it turned out!
I also have to agree about the crotch patch. First thing I noticed and not something I usually look at first lolol. But it does look good overall!
I really like the textures of the suit. Very realisitic looking. I own a number of suits for Genesis 3, and none of them are actually this nice. There is a butt smoothing morph that comes with the set, but it kind of tore up the seam on the hiney on gen 3. Fortunatedly M3D includes a spandex morph so some of hte clingyness is minimized.
My philosophy on clothing tends to be that if I will put a female character in it, I will put a male character in it. Sort of like the short-short uniform for STNG, and the corresponding male Skant. =-)
I like action sequences where there are a lot of opponents attacking at once... A sort of sea of combined attackers. This was more challenging than I figured because as I attempted to pose the models things got repetitive. There was sort of a vast sea of pink fleshy blood beasts. I'm going to have to try this idea again because it certainly was a challenge..
The blood beast has some nice details. I particularly like the 3-fingered hands. I rendered this in 3delight and iray and combined them in photoshop. I picked out details with overlay to highlight the hair and the back of the leg with blue. Depth of field had beeen added in the render.. There is even a fallen crewmember's legs down there, you can see if you look carefully and two sci-fi axes.
Only after I rendered this did I realize the blood beast clutching at Sarge's legs had a wardrobe malfunction which needed to be fixed. =-)
The bot was originally firing a laser but it was too distracting and the angle made it look very close to shooting Sarge in the thigh.
Oh my gosh I bet that posing took forever.... looks like a ton of work. Was worth it though its an awesome scene!
Freebie Alert:
RenderGuyNY posted some great genesis 3 male samesex marriage poses here in one of my other threads. It also includes a ring. Such a nice gift and just in time for Pride month.

also:
google offers a fantastic set of freebie filters for your photoshop renders I particularly like the pencil one.

Owen and Boyd tie the knot. =-)
I can certainly see why that would be a challenge, having to see what overlaps what. I like the beam from the bot too!
For a moment in your Owen and Boyd, I thought he was giving me the finger, lol! Fun renders, well done!
Yeah I can see the flipping the bird imagery, the pose actually has them both doing it but from my camera angle it looked a bit odd like someone's finger was going to be lunch. I may try it again. It is an adorable pose and the gallery needs more men. :-)
Here's my final one for for me wedding series for now. I really liked how nicely Maclean's everyday drinks renders. The fine details on that Champagne bottle and those bubbles in the champagne look very nice.
That is great attention to detail with the bubbles! I think I like this last one the best, the head tilt really makes it special.
This is a render to show offf the new Cyber Fit outfit for genesis 3 males by Midnight Stories http://www.daz3d.com/cyber-fit-outfit-for-genesis-3-male-s
I really like the outfit. Nice piece of work. And versatile too.
