Bah, The Dirty Birds held off the 'Skins who were on an amazing comeback after being down 24 - 0 at the start of the fourth quarter, intercepting a pass in the end zone that would have tied the game (with a successful 2pt conversion) with about 30 seconds left.
Halftime in Chicago, Ravens on top of Da Bears 17 - 10. Game was delayed by 2 hours because of a tornado and severe thunderstorm watch.

Unranked USC upset #4 Stanford 20 -17 on a late game filed goal while #6 Oregon beat up on Utah 44 -21, creating an interesting situation in the Pac-12 and bowl projections with Oregon back on top of the North Division based on overall season record.
And Duke (better known for basketball and having one of the worst football teams in a power conference), won their sixth straight over #23 Miami beating up the "Canes 48 - 30 to take the league in the ACC Coastal division.

No Premier League matches weekend
Croatia and Iceland played to a 0 - 0 draw in World Cup Qualifying with the second round at home at Stadion Maksimir in Zagreb.
Portland Timbers lost opening match of the Western Conference finals to Salt Lake 2 - 4. Round 2 set for next weekend here in Portland. This is Portland's first ever appearance in the playoff rounds since becoming an MLS franchise back in 2011. If they win next week, they will remain atop the standings table and win the Western Conference Championship as well as be on their way to the MLS Cup series. Not bad for only three years in the "Big" league.
