    ..excellent.

Just applied for a job with the State. Hope this one works out as it almost exactly matches my resume skill set. When it came to the skills questionnaire had the highest level of experience and all multiple selection boxes checked. Hopefully they don't think I'm too overqualified. At this point, I don't care if it seems a step or two "down" from what I previously did (even though it pays more and I get a "Cadillac" benefits package from day one), pulling down a pacheque is preferable to not pulling down a paycheque.

    good luck yoos!!

The Dart looks like a sweet little ride. Now I really need to learn modelling so I can make one for Leela and Tracey to drive around the English countryside in. They'd love it

my eyes can't make sense of it, likes it though.

i still have my heart set on a Fiat someday.
...they were cited for two reasons, pretty much no crash protection in the front and that being the location of the only door. Get in a front end wreck and, if you survived, there was no way out until the car could be pulled away from whatever it hit (didn't have the "Jaws of Life" back then).

the bus schedule was just a suggestion today, waited 50 minutes, a couple inches of sign pole as shelter.

...I hate it when that happens. You make sure to get to the stop in plenty of time, and the silly thing never shows up. That's been a chronic issue here as of late on the route I used to ride every morning. Ended up having to wait for the next run which made a sardine tin seem roomy as it had its regular load plus everyone who got stiffed waiting for the earlier run.

wind cut right through, br brrr. dbl cuppa tea to warm up. shvrr

Those node thingies look so complex to me. I guess I have a lot of work ahead of me to figure out all that stuff. I've seen similar stuff in screen caps of DS, so it looks like it's unavoidable.

    Dana

If you can use layers in Photoshop you can use nodes in other software, each node is like a layer transforming what is underneath it :)

I use layers, but not anything really fancy. The node thingies look more like programming flowchart, but with spaghetti connections!

    Dana

The nodes flowchart really resembles xPresso graph editor in Cinema 4D :)
More programm-y ish than what ps1borg showed, and it's not for materials. I kinda wish Cinema's materials were node-based sometimes. It's material editor is really showing it's age D: Hasn't been updated in foreveer and a day.

went for a midnight walk up and down the block. iz very still out. sunrise at 6:42am. acute morning.

Skiriki must be having extremely short daylight hours this time of year, or midnight sun, iz confusing ???

so, we're spinning, and warbling, iz quite a ride ... but you're ride is a lot more miles if you're at the equator, but riding the warble at the poles iz a wilder ride. is thw able once a day or is it independent of the spin cycle?

So was browsing gog.com and looking at the games they had to offer, and found one that was like an RPG/Strategy/Adventure/Simulation game mixed into one. Like Lords of the Realm meets Lands of Lore meets Civilization. Almost.

It looked real cool, wasn't too expensive, and seemed like a game I'd enjoy.
So I read a bit more, it made two scarce mention of dragons (For a game titled "King of Dragon Pass" there wasn't a lot of dragon talk xP) and then I came upon this bit of text:

"It's set in the world of Glorantha, which is a world that was created for the pencil and paper roleplaying game, RuneQuest. It was later incorporated into a Dungeons and Dragons supplement. In Glorantha, magic is more focused around prayers and quests into a mystical realm inhabited by gods and monsters."

<<< later incorporated into a Dungeons and Dragons >>>

And that bit sealed it for me. Completely lost interest and moved on.

Oh well. I've got plenty of other games from the site to keep me occupied, but this one looked real interesting =/

Full Beaver Moon tonight...tomorrow night, too, I guess. Clouds tonight, so it would be better seen tomorrow night. Plus there's a comet that will be seen. It appears to the naked eye as a greenish blurry star. With binoculars I bet it looks nice. Hmmm...I have binoculars, good ones, too. It will only be seen about a half hour before sunrise Sunday morning.

Morrigi! They're snake bird dragon things that are very social and relatively friendly, and are very good at diplomatic stuffs :P

I say 'relatively' because they do have a tendancy to be a bit on the arrogant side.
Was once a time long ago when all Morrigi were instructed to wear these helmets that prevented them from hypnotizing other races into thinking they were the most beautiful things ever xP
They don't do that anymore though o3o

They work like layers but you can make parallel stacks of them, techniques well worth having a look at especially for materials, and movement where that is supported :)

...that's what I like abut Carrara's Texture room no nodes or webs of plugs to deal with.

You can either devote to the cult of the node or the cult of the layer, either way is good :)
