I got a notice from Nationale7 saying that anyone who bought the Dodge street van needs to go update it with the new one. Something about the old one was a prop and the new one is a .CR2 file.

    Just a heads up.

    :-)

You should get over to Rendo and see what N7 did to his 54 Chevy!

1993 Oldsmobile Cutlas Ciera...I know it's not a classic but when I saw this on a GTA site, I just had to do it. My Dad had one exactly like this, same color...Medium Garnet Red with matching interior. He and Mom use to travel alot to military reunions and they would take their military friends with them. Dad decided that this car didn't have enough room for all of them so he eventually traded it for a bigger Oldsmobile.

Depends on how you define classic! Some would consider the Chevy Chevette a classic!

    Well, yeah, that's true.

I just noticed I forgot to add a texture to the rubber trim, black chrome, and body seams.

Been awhile since I posted a pic in both the PC Inspirations and this thread, but in the post apocalyptic world, having a running car will be a big plus!

    Where are the clowns?...lol.

I have the 54 Chevy Nomad, but not the 2 door. Since I don't use Poser, no big deal here.

Still looks good. Nice setting you chose. Just a bit small though looking at the railing and wall.

First...it looks like a SHE to me, not a HE. I asked about clowns because of the colorfulness of the car...like a clowns car.

If you scroll National7 cars, you will see a 1954 Nomad (station wagon). I have it.

Chevy didn't make a Nomad for 54, the Nomad was a part of the 55-57 lineups. Nationale7 also didn't make a 54 Nomad, that is just a standard station wagon.

That's true but there was a 1954 Nomad that was based on the Corvette. It was a Motorola Showcar.

That is also true, however, it wasn't a Motorola show car, more like a Motorama show car! LOL

I don't doubt that someone somewhere has made a 3D model of the Motorama Nomad.

Let me just guess, its on Tubrosquid, right? That automatically makes it expensive!

Actually didn't look there found it a www.exchange3d.com
It's also at Turbo Squid and CG Trader and they are all the same model and only for 3dmax Funny thing is it's $13.00 cheaper at CGTrader but still high dollar

I don't doubt that, its more of a specialty car anyway, so probably not too many takers.

and here's the "Ole 55" at the "old drive in"...lol.

And I was always told that the "nomad" WAS a station wagon. So that's why I called it that. But technically, the nomad that had the back windows done over was also called a "Delivery", so it varries.
