The Nomad was a station wagon, but not the standard station wagon, the delivery didn't have all the chrome trim that the Nomad had, it was kind of like the Cameo pickup, it was supposed to be a pretty car, with a little functionality, but have the sporty look as well.
And a damn good job you did as well.
Thanks John.

Downtown!
Look out Mama!
(elsewhere downtown)
:-)
Out of Downtown!
Out of Downtown 2 and Night Rider!
Would be cool if you could find a city background from the 50s. That would look very nice.
:-)
I fully agree with that, finding one or a few would be good, but finding any that have the vibrant colors of todays photo technology is hard to do.
They are out there Guys, do a google search on 1950's New York Skyline, Chicago Skyline and the like. You will then of course need to hunt the Usage rights for any image you may like but they are out there.
I know there are great photographs of the 1950s city skylines are out there, however, many of those would not be usable for us to do our art with, simply because of the copyright laws, the pix I usually use I save from facebook, those would most definitely fall under fair use.
In other news, Nationale7 is at it again, now he's gone and released a very nice 1958 Plymouth.

ooooooooooooooo!
(eyes wide open)

I am looking for a certain car. Maybe one of you guys know where I might can find one. It is a 1964 Plymouth "sport" Fury. My dad had one exactly like this one and he called it "Sweet Thang". It was very fast. 383, four speed, A very "unassuming" overlooked muscle car. I would love to make him a render of his and give it to him. He would be thrilled.
:-)
I have no idea where you can find a 1964 Fury, not in 3D anyway, good luck there, maybe someone will make one.
In the meantime, here is the 58 Plymouth, not a bad looking car for the most part, there is some slight issues with the mesh, but I imagine that has more to do with the shape of the car and such, probably difficult to make this particular car in 3D/
Had to let Heather take the Plymouth out for a test drive!
A Thumb Goes Up, A Car Goes By!
I like that one Betsy. It looks real and the city looks dated right. Love the old Jesus Saves sign...I remember those. Nice work.
:-)
Of course I just noticed that the Chevy wagon parked over at Paco's Tacos is sitting a couple of feet off the ground!
And why would it be a 35 speed limit but 40 for trucks? ;-)
If I ever figure out how to make my own speed limit signs, the speed limit will be 90!
Actually the entire scene is a work in progress, I downloaded this cool road from sharecg, as well as some signs and stuff, so I'm working on the scenes little by little, so at this point, some items are just there for added detail, not necessarily accuracy.
Here is a freebie over on sharecg, its by Dryjack, not a bad little model, if your into little European cars, like this little Fiat, remember that if you use it in DAZ Studio, you will need to use DAZ studio shaders to color the chrome and the body paint, other than that, it renders pretty well.
Flying the Hornet!
Haven't played with the Blender Render Chevy for awhile, so I brought it into DS and played a little bit tonight.
All is good!
:-)
Corvette Heaven.
The 61 street legal Vette is our original AdR speedworks model, a nicely done model available from DAZ, the Gasser is one I downloaded from the 3D Warehouse.
Working Late.
Workin for a Livin!
Nice
Like the truck but I think the steering tire needs replacing going to be a rough ride
