Thx music. the car needs a nice set of tyres though, I'll try and scout out some low profile ones as they are flat on the benzo. That's why I put them in the shadows.
@ artd3D. That's why I don't use Vue, with it's locked in attitude and It's lack of flexibility without all the modules. I did start using my Vue Frontier 10, but quickly dropped it.

What, they have no treads? They certainly don't look "flat" to me; Bald maybe, but not flat.

ROFLMAO Now that's funny. I like how you did that. When I loked closely at your first picture, they look nice and round, not flatness at all, just no tread. making them flat in this picture is just too funny.

Flat tires....what a concept. I don't think anyone has offered any up that I know of.

That 63 split window stingray is my fav all time muscle car. I know a lady here who has one in her garage. All original. Her husband left it to her when he died. She won't sell it to anyone. Black, with black interior. 427, four speed. ALL original.

    Sweet little Fiat!

Here are a few I have. The first is the Car Admiral on sale here at the Daz Store. It has some fine detail and loads of morphs. Even all the dash guages can be set where you want. It does eat up a lot of memory though, so camera work is a bit slow. Still an awesome buy.

Here is a GTA conversion car...I want to say it is a 1932 Ford Roadster, but something just doesn't look right. Maybe because it has a custom interior and stock wheels and tires...lol, also it has a gear shifter on the column and in the floor too, and the engine is nicely detailed, but the hood doesn't open and the grill cover is all part of the hood so no chrome. Still looks cool though. DZfire's Shaders applied.

And finally...here is one called the Roads Royds. I think I got this over at sharecg.com in the 3d models section. Maybe not. Who knows...the luggage in the trunk was included with the car as seperate .pp2 props as was the rear console, mini computer and champaign bottle and glass. I applied the chrome shaders as the ones it had sucked real bad...lol. It came black with bad shader too, so I applied DZfires deep black. Looks pretty good now.

Nice car, nice setting, nice render.

While all the American cars are interesting, for a Brit, the European cars are much more appealing.

I must get back to my Anglebox when I get a chance.

Thanks John. I used Blender to whip up some cables as the ones that came with the village were straight. I must admit to digging around the internet to ferret out the Brit and Euro cars. I guess it boils down to nostalgia and what your familiar with. I just don't see that many US imports driving around and when I was a teenager they were rarer than hens teeth.

Music, that GTA conversion looks really nice, was that a wft mod. I have looked for an unlocker for the wft files but only found a plugin for 3D Max, which uses some game ripper. Anyway, it's no use to me as I don't have Max or Zmodeller. The Admiral looks good, I'll probably pick it up some time later.

Here is one I started finally working on this morning, its a gta conversion, some of the texture files really leave a lot to be desired, but some are excellent, the tire files for instance, really don't work well, however, the gauges and engine textures are fine, as well as the door sign and decals.

I know its still a work in progress, I know I need to fix the steering wheel and some other things, but its working well in DS.

Actually, they are all friends, so no bloodshed there, their war isn't against each other, its against tyranny!

Yes it is a .wft model. ZModeler 2.6, the one I use, WILL open GTA IV models. The problem is most of the models are locked and can not be opened. There is no program to unlock them. So...1 in every 6 or so, CAN BE OPENED. This one did.

I found these two cars over at DMI model site. The 1966 Mustang Fastback is kinda new, but the 2014 Corvette C7 Stingray is VERY NEW.
Here is the Corvette. It is in both LWO and OBJ formats. The LWO one will open in Poseray and has all the textures in order. It looks great and very smooth, yet low poly. I resaved it as an OBJ file because the one that came with it is kinda screwey and the textures don't apply in Poseray. The LWO was much better. I applied DZfires shaders on the body and some chrome shaders and it looks pretty good. Very cool car in real life. I've seen one and it caught my eye immediately.

Here is the 1966 Mustang Fastback. Low poly yet very smooth. LWO and 3DS. Same here as the Corvette. The LWO file looks best in Poseray. Resaved as OBJ then imported it into Daz. Loads realy fast. Not as much detail as the Corvette, but a great scene car for low memory use. Again DZfires body shaders and chrome shaders. Real Nice simple 66 fastback.

I was surfing the internet this morning looking for some cool old gas stations and garages to use as backgrounds for some car renders and I found this photo. Recognize this old gas station? It is the original Rosies Gas station that the sketchup model is made from. I thought I would post this for those of you who know that model...cool huh?

I also found this photo. I just liked it because it reminded me of a time long ago when a man's cave was his garage. Just had a real good feel to it.
