thanks UB, Stezza, Bunyip02 (for sharing that link) and Dart!

Dart really hope you put some stuff in here. That painting was an overpaint in Artrage - really hard to know when it is loose enough.

Overpaint is the New Black ;)

Nice images Vyusur , glad you got FF working!

Bunyip the spaceship looks like sci fi like Omni magazine.

Stezza, boy, you must be old. Cant imagine any kid's stuff in it these days with the word 'Dick' in it. Except Dick Dastardly :)

Diomede, that's a great style. I've been revisiting ToonPro whatever it is that comes with Carrara (su8btle) and using FF on it - worth while experimenting.

Couple of May Gibbs' characters (australian kid's book author) 'Bib and Bub."

Carara's native toon render plus a few FF filters , combined with a few render passes  out of Carrara . eg shadow and coverage and diffuse

If you render a diffuse pass (? from memory) you can get a lot of the photorealist pass at the same time as gettinga native toon pass,

Overdid the outline around the stamens but that's okay.

I remember those cartoons, Stezza!  Wonderful memories.  Vyusur, I guess I am the outlier.  Although I like both versions of the Western saloon, I like the B&W version even more.  Bunyip, I'm ready to visit that tiny blue planet!

Here is some fun from me.  With the recent sales, I realized that I had Howie's DarkWald set but never used it.  Decided to explore a little.  Here is a fantastic world render.

    Fabulous !!!!

So... are most/many of these straight renders (PR) and then made NPR in post? Or NPR + Post?

Either way... what a wonderful art gallery going on in here!

    Bravo to all!

Vyusur, yes, I like the BW one better too, even though both are wonderful paintings!

Bunyip02, wow... I hope you never get tired! Keep cranking them out!

    Diomede, very cool!

Wow... still a long way to go to get current in this thread!

Cool reminder of the past, Stezza! Wow!

    Something for Halloween.

    "For All The Marbles"

Both figures are Genesis 1. The outfits and room were modeled in Carrara. A whole bunch of different render passes and quite a bit of playing around in Photoshop to get the final.

heh heh , I gave up smoking when I was 28... just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water

how did you get that great caustic effect on the fish by the way?

  • DartanbeckDartanbeck Posts: 21,323

I thought it was the sea horse that was Meano, and that the clown fish was just misunderstood! Goes to show what I know!

Thanks Headwax. The red sky & light gave the grey textures a pinkish tone.
