I hope that I can go to work soon as I am frustrated. My roommate is upset with something but I am not sure what to do.

Have you tried rebooting your roommate? Pull the power cord out, wait 10 seconds and plug back in.

Well, since it will take over two weeks for us to get a technician out to review the issue, I would siggest trying that. If that does not correct the problem press and hold (as hard as you can) the OEM reset (which on this model is the nose). >>>Do NOT follow my adivce: humor only!<<<<
Got an email about an online course that may or may not be great but they wanted money for it. Real money not the fake monopoly money I made with photoshop, but real money. Right now I do not want to spend the real money on something I am not sure I will benefit from using. I do not care if it is only available for a limited time. if I was going to buy something today it would be either something from daz or a pizza but unable to do either at the moment so nothing will be bought today.

I believe they're from South America, and were first brought back to Europe by Columbus in 1493.
Also, pineapples are related to the bromeliad flower, a tropical spikey plant with fleshy spikey red flowers very common in Florida. There are many varieties of bromeliads in other warm colors (orange, yellow, etc.) The smell of pineapples comes from chemicals called methyl butanoate and ethyl butanoate.
Pineapples were a major crop in early Florida along the barrier island between Melbourne and Miami on the east coast. But the once lush native vegetation of the island that grew in poor soil (like many jungles) was decimated by the over-cultivating of pineapples and the islands now support mainly only scrub palmettos in the depleted soil. It's now a moot point because most of the land of that 100 mile long barrier island is now filled with houses, high rise condominiums, shopping centers, roads and people resting on sand just a few feet above the ocean. Another example of the Paradise Lost syndrome. Pineapples are now largely grown in Hawaii and Australia. Notice the similarity of the bromeliad flower and the crown of the pineapple in the images below.

Got home a bit late from my errands to find the kitchen a mess (none of which was mine) so decided to go for takeout. Most of the foodie carts a block away were closing up, so headed to the Hawai'ian BBQ place for some Ono Phil's Shoyu Chicken and green salad (as I cannot have the traditional macaroni salad since it is made with Mayo) with a lovely ginger sesame dressing. Even the "Menehune" (their "small") size is too much for one sitting, so now I have lunch for tomorrow.
