My computer time is in a different time zone.  It is saying it is ten am here but that is not true for this time zone.

...I guess it's better than your brain feeling it was still 1720.

...however, I love the music of Bach.

    FOOTBALL DAY!!!! laugh

Got beer, got food, got chips.. no dip but I'm not sure I care enough to go outside to get any. It's 45F and maybe my motivation isn't strong enough..

GO TEXANS!  The only one of my teams that has a wildcard shot.. Cowboys are worthless, Revens totally flaked.. help me Texans, you're my only hope!

...Packers wil be one & done in the playoffs especially if they win today as they'll probably meet Arizona again, (who gave them a severe beat down last week) in the Wildcard round. They are a walking M*A*S*H unit with most of hte O-Line injured, their best Wide Receiver (and deep threat) ou,t and an offence that looks more out of sync than a bunch of guys in a Saturday afternoon pickup game at the park.

Actually several sports analysts are saying they'd be better off if they lost today, then they would meet the Redskins and have something of a chance. No matter what, no home games at all during the playoffs.

It was a ild day yesterday, to say the least! Texans pulled one off and made the playoffs, Manning got his groove back, everything else was kind of,, ugh.  Lotfs of coaches and staf looking for new jobs today, I see...

    Curiouser and curiouser...

...agh Packers lost the third conference game at home and after seven years gave up the NFC "Norris Division" crown to one of the worst rivals, the Viqueens.

Worse, just after sunset the snow changed to freezing rain (wasn't supposed to happen until after midnight).  Really scary six block walk home form the pub where I was watching the game. Fortunately didn't fall, although came close a couple times. I would take two feet of snow over one quarter inch of ice. .

Ice belongs in drinkys, not on the sidewalk or street.

Yeah, couldn't believe GB lost to them.  How times have changed...

Glad you got home safely! Be careful! surprise

Ugh!  Snowing here.  Lightly, but it's starting to stick to the sidewalk.  It was only supposed to be the Cape and islands that got this today!  That's my complaint.

Speculation is that somewhere in the 114-120 protons range is an isotope that could be stable and not decay radioactively.  114 might be a sort of a super lead. yes Whereas 118 might be a sort of super heavy gas! surprise

But the cool part is that with the acceptance of these last four elements we've completed the 7th row of the Periodic Table.   The two rows at the bottom i.e. the "Actinide" and "Lanthanide" Series, actually squeeze into the 6th and 7th rows after their corresponding elemental namesakes ("Actinium" and "Lanthanum")

This one? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VgVQKCcfwnU  Yes, but only the names of the last few to replace the generic "unun..." names that have been used temporarily.

for myself, but would love to have a facial mask for Vicky and friends.   She has to somehow pamper herself after doing all the hard work of modeling for me.

..hoping to see Mike McCarthy among the job seekers after this season.  One person on a Packers blog put it this way in a response to a post I made this morning:

    McCarthy is the anti-Carroll

...in the post I contrasted the earlier game between Seattle - Arizona with the Packers - Vikings one where I mentioned Pete Carroll takes chances to win games while McCarthy plays it safe and never calls a stunt or trick play which makes the Packers offence so bloody predictable. I also agree with the respondent's point that the reason Aaron Rodgers appears so frustrated all the time is because he sees how the ultra conservative coaching style of McCarthy is sinking the team.

...ice is slowly melting, but still slick in some areas.  Had my dental appointment for today cancelled because the clinic was closed. Probably won't have rescheduled until the end of the month.

I tried that once.  But the mouth hole was too small for my fangs and people said it looked weird.
