Don't know if I said it yet...Merry Christmas! Had a busy, and long, day with family.

..well back home. The film was great (no spoilers for those wh haven't seen it yet). One thing I can say, definitely back to the "roots".
Dinner was excellent, had pan seared Steelhead along with copious amounts of very refreshing beverages at one of the city's premiere seafood restaurants. Turkey's overrated (and often overly infused with growth hormones and antibiotics anyway).
...and got some really good "medicinals". All in all a very good holiday.
merry christmas :)
beverages sounds good. iz a bright and stormy night here, huge moon with clouds scudding against a tropical storm :)
I am having some alone time at a quiet mall right now.
Cute woofers!
Sturday, supposed to rain all day, supressing my desire to get out and about. 72F right this instant as well, A/C is on and redby because it'll heat up fast once I start cooking.
One football game tonight, at 8:30EST.. might watch it, curious as to how the Redskins do. Mostly ball tomorrow, feel lazy, will just go get wings at the Wingstop a block and a half aay and keep them warm in the crock pot.
Gonna be home for New Years Eve, as usual - my crowd tolerance right now is zero.
I hope everyone had a great Christmas!
Crowd tolerance = 0 My type of person. I'd ask you to visit but my crowd tolerance is 0.
Actually, since I live in a house divided into two apartments, I surprisingly did miss people when the other apartment was empty for a few months. Now that another family with young children have moved in with their clomping up and down the stairs, yelling and screaming kids, crying, and arguing from the other side of the wall, I'm just as happy as a pig in mud now that I have something to bitch about again.
Morning sun breaking through the clouds. First time in a while. Nice.
Heh.
I'm good for about 3-4 people for short (less than 1 day) burts, then I need alone time.
I hate screaming kids with a fiery vengance, only slightly less than I hate sceaming adults.
Goooooood moooooorning! (coffee emote)
Well, despite the weather I'm going to grab my umbrella and head out for a few beers and a Bratzel!
What is a Bratzel? It's a oastd soft pretzel coated in cheese, and topped with a beer bratwurst and green onions! OMG must try.
Then home to compose, and fiddlewith DS. I have a concept for a new track.. heh heh.
We usually stay home on New Year's Eve. Too many idiots on the road.

You're Gumby, damnit! (SNL reference)

Complaint: posted new freebie in freebie section, Christmas for the Baby Luna Sleeper. 43 views, not a single comment. Not even a "Hey, that's nice!" Of course, maybe the comments would have been a bit less friendly than that, for which I should then be grateful.

I feel the Earth, move, under my feet... RUN FOR IT
Speaker blower warning...
...the restaurant we went to after the cinema was fairly posh and had huge windows that faced the river lovely view. Unfortunately the one downside, like most places during the holidays, they were playing "seasonal" music in the background. At one point I sat back and looked up to see the full moon framed by bare tree branches and wispy clouds...
....then suddenly thoughts of Jack Skellington came to mind and all was better.
...and for me, drunken screaming adults.
I have not seen it yet.
...for me, too many idiots at the pub, on the road, on the bus/tram, and impossible to get a taxi.
...ahh, the sound of the Juan De Fuca Plate slowly slipping under the North American Plate.
...then someday...
...
...ugh Boxing Day has another connotation as 2nd place Arsenal got their ears boxed today by 12th place Southampton, 4 - 0 while 3rd place Manchester city eased by Sunderland 3 - 1.
