As I love orcs and fantasy stuff it actually worked out well for me this week. The first bundle was priced decent, if you bought the 2nd bundle, after that the price for it was even better. The 3rd bundle was priced even better because of banner offers for already owning bundle 1 and 2. Plus if you did not already have the folklore bundle you could buy it for $5. I did not have that bundle for G8, so I picked up too. Then today the orc bundle is priced insanely well if stuff works out together. Since I bought each bundle in the previous 3 days, I get a bonus special banner for an extra 60% off. Combine that with the mad discount, the today special discount, the folklore discount, and a 2nd mad item discount (an old poser 60ish cent item that is mad works for that), makes the bundle price for me $3.54! LOL
EVEN BETTER! I have 8 tokens which drop its price down to $2.12! ROFL Different folks like different things, but this special them and layout was right up my alley.
That is why I have posted before they should nix the earning tokens for buying stuff, and just make it a permanent special incentive for buying things either with cash rather than store credit or buying gift cards. That way if you want something special you can just one shot buy $80 gift card and use your one shot bonus 40% off. Then save your extra gift card credit for later if you don't use it all. Special something comes around again you like, just buy an additional $80+ of gift card credit, and enjoy your discount. :) Much more user friendly then saving up tokens over a week based on what you have bought which then get erased at the end of Sunday.
Thanks. I am very much a noob at this still. I did not realize that all poser assets worked with studio. I thought they had to be specially updated to be able to be used.
Most but not all. For example Poser dynamic items do not work in DS unless you put a lot of effert into modifying them.
however, if you skipped the first few, the discounting falls short, although I now have 4 orc bundles in the cart and they're at 82% off, and thats with nothing else discounting other than a 5% token deal. 81% without it. for the 13 items, which includes the free fire forest product, its about $3.12 per product.

I'll be really happy to see something other than Orcs. I haven't purchased any of it.
I finally gave in and used the tokens I'd gotten at the beginning of the week (eg, pre-Orc) on the flash sale stuff today; hadn't bought anything since the orc thing started.. 6+ flash sales items ended up being about $2 each with all the discounts. But I'm running out of old stuff to catch up on. Hopefully we get some post-Orc fireworks.
I was just freaking out. I spent like 8 hours picking out 30 items and bundles to use my 8 tokens on. I realized I was almost out of time 10 minutes before tokens would expire and new sale options. At 5 minutes I went to pay and the store was telling me there was an error trying to handle the trasaction!!!!!! Took me 3 minutes opening up new pages, refreshing etc. but finally with 2 minutes left, it went through succesfully! LOL
Internally I was like, "DAZ I AM TRYING TO THROW MY MONEY AT YOU! TAKE IT BEFORE PRICES GO UP AND I LOSE MY TOKENS OR ELSE I AM NOT BUYING ANY OF IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
I finally pulled the trigger and got Polish's cyber punk weapons bundle, the mech bundle, and the cyber vehicle bundle.
...I have G3 and G8 orcs. and even a G8 Troll that work well for my Shadowrun™ illustrations. I'm satisfied.

I bought my first Josh Crockett character (Krugan bundle) and the Grugmar bundle during the 'Orc Days'; I'm curious... I think Krugan can also make a great vampire.
Seems you're the type of customer DAZland targetted with these tokens. Compared to that, I spent my sunday as usual, because I hadn't to worry about a single token not being used, as I had none.
I purchased my cart at 11:40 daz time sunday night/monday morning.
The promo was still saying spend another .50 cents to get 2 tokens.
So I figured they would be new tokens as I was using my old ones on the cart.
But the new ones disappeared in the change over.
That is really tacky.
Learn to program... if those tokens aren't going to count don't push me to buy more. Turn off that part of the HTML for the last day.

The "Show Wishlist Only" is a DazDeals feature, and hasn't worked on Chrome for couple of months, works intermittently on FF and Opera if one waits long enough.

Yes the tokens should still be valid on 1 April. However, you only can get double tokens today.
I hate waiting if they come up with additional offers in the afternoon DazTime, have to go to bed at midnight (in 2 hours)...
The bundle price for me today is $2.57 without doing anything but buying the bundle.
It seems a move like this for specials and stuff could be a worth while move. Reward folks for buying at the start and continuing all the way through where they get ever increase deals without breaking the bank. All 5 bundles and the folklore bundle will have cost me around $41. If they did this more often and make it clear what the theme was and that the sales would get better for those who bought at first rather than waiting for a better price a few days later (why do that DAZ?), then folks would likely be much more likely to jump on board at the start since they know they will get rewarded best for jumping on soon.
DAZ however since at least last year seemed to repeated punish folks for buying day 1 and rewarding folks who waited to buy until days 2-4. Hopefully some stuff has been learned and this is not a one off but a continual move in the right direction.
I think Joan 9 release was handled really badly. Her day 1 bundles were rediculous with how 2 3 item bundles had the same core charcter and someone at DAZ was stupid enough to either not understand math, or stupid enough to think their customers were stupid enough to not understand math and buy both Joan 9 bundles to get an increased discount on both of them! WOOT! Lets pay more by aiming for the special discount, then if we just buy 1 bundle, the 2 other items separately, and skip the special discount...
Her value increased drastically for those who waited to buy the elf addon and bought one of her bundles along with the elf addon. But that was once again rewarding folks who waited like a week to jump on board rather than day 1 purchase. The should have done Joan 9 like they did the orcs. Make it 5 days of medieval fair. Have 1 Joan 9 bundle day 1 with 2 items. Then do 4 more days of related theme sets at ever increasing value for folks who hopped on for the next bundle. Those bundles could have had the elf stuff, the elder king guy, and other related stuff where folks would have actually saved a bunch by buying the next set each day.

If you took advantage of the increasing orc bundle discounts, there was some great purchase opportunities. I had 2x token gain from last Monday or Tuesday. Then I got the extra tokens buy just getting the orc bundles and taking advantage of stuff I wanted from the grab bag sales. There were some decent things that I did not have yet like ultra terrain at a decent price. Those grab bags and orcs put me at 8 tokens by Saturday, so I had the option of getting that extra 40% off by using the tokens before Sunday ended. Most of the time the tokens would have been useless to me, but orc horde made it work out, and since I had them, I did not want to waste an extra 40% of discount when I have been wanting so many different things from PA's like Polish for a relatively long time. ;) $15 for the cyber punk weapons bundle was pretty dang good I think based on the prices I have been watching it at for the last year. Also, there was a bunch of decent stuff in the flash grab bag sale when you considered the items would then be $1.95. The sale probably stank for most, but IF you had the 8 tokens at that point it was pretty good.
All things considered, though, they should just give expiring tokens for folks who buy the gift cards only instead of spending, OR make it so tokens don't expire so you can save them up for when you really want to use them.
On Brave browser I have to disable/reenable the dazdeals extension repeatedly and refresh the page repeatedly. Then EVENTUALLY it will work on the page...
