    Maybe people are just as annoyed at the BS that's being pulled with alternate shapes being exclusive or limited time like I am? Using fomo tactics in a program for people to create art is attrocious.

    I know that's probably not the real reason but I hope that with less hype around the PB's daz rethinks their sales tactics and cuts out this nonsense.

    The forum has lost so much functionality, I don't think as many people are participating any more. We just got back the ability to upload images. We still don't get any notification emails. Maybe that is part of why threads aren't being created. Plus, these new character bundles come way too often.

    Speaking of the forum, do you know if the error happening when someone's trying to unhide a forum's category is known by the dev team ?

    I hid 'the commons' category by mistake and despite trying with multiple browsers, in the morning, the evening or the middle of the day, I still get an error when I'm trying to unhide it, saying:

    Something has gone wrong.

    We've run into a problem and are unable to handle this request right now.

    Please check back in a little while.

    I actually like the shapes of the lower body and tail. It looks as if human legs scaled over and fused together, and the feet became webbed, expanded, and joined to form a tail. I can imagine a transformation similar to what's seen in werewolf movies. Gross, perhaps, but merfolk are a bit gross. ;)

    (This topic reminds me of the movie Dagon.)

    But it would be nice to have additional textures. Some less toonish options especially - the character can be mixed for a more realistic appearance, after all (and the results shown in promos look promising).

    Today I saw the https://www.daz3d.com/200-plus-genesis-9-edition and it and my DAZ+ freebie and the Hostas and Red Shirt promos were no brainers. I let the cart sit and hours later came back and looked at Ati's email of notification of my wishlist items on sale. For once I clicked on it and found that I owned a number, but I added the ones I didn't to my cart as a test and just checked out. The PAs and DAZ owe the DAZ Deal add-on a big thank you. I am doing this with an extremely bad migraine and would not have taken the time to look at the promos below the new items.

    Two sets of plants from Martin J on the same day is lovely! 70% of the reason I subscribe to Daz+ is the plant sets. 

    Anyone know what the intensely neon dress in the gift card banner is? I need to check if I have that violently beautiful glory wishlisted.

    I've mentioned it before - I think something might be wrong in the submission process. Perhaps something changed - a checkbox was added or moved, or an option reset during an update - without these PAs noticing, or perhaps someone on Daz's end isn't exercising due diligence when configuring products in the store. Or perhaps it's some other issue.

    There are a LOT of PAs who supported all licensing options in the past but whose newer items lack one or both of the additional options. And sometimes the options change from product to product. (To be clear, we're talking about the products that aren't Daz Originals, since DOs always have all options.)

    It's costing the PAs at least some sales - interesting products often go from "buy on release" to "maybe on clearance" for me if they don't have the additional options. If that's a conscious decision on their part, cool - it's their choice. But it might be good to make sure these changes are in fact deliberate and not a mistake, bug, etc.

    Does someone know the meaning of those Character Presets on today's golden ticket (particularly the 'Propagating Size' part) ?

    • Hands Alt Apply/Remove
    • Hand Propagating Size Apply/Remove
    • Head Propagating Size A/B Apply/Remove

    And is there really a set of alternative hands or is this a spelling mistake and are the first two items about the head and not the hands ?

    Well, that depends on what people regard as 'normal'. We have a 2CV (as per 3djoji's Teuf-Teuf), and we used to have a Merc Sprinter (as per Truform's Multi Purpose Van on Rendo). Admittedly we currently now also have a Merc Vito (no model I have found) and a Toyota Aygo (also not seen). So.. We (normal or otherwise) have some of our 'normal' vehicles available in DS.. 

    Apparently in the UK (don't know about elsewhere) SUV's are very popular with the Nissan Qashqai being the highest selling model in 2022 in the UK. So possibly SUV's are the new normal.

    Yes, SUVs are the no 1 bestselling type of cars in Germany, too. And i am not saying there shouldn't be any new ones released here, of course, and same for the sports cars. Still, many non suv here begin to look more and more vintage imo, so why not also some new small / medium sized "non suvs" (to substitute the "normal")?
