Yup yup love them!!
What i liked was https://www.daz3d.com/dforce-casual-style-girl-outfit-for-genesis-9
adding a blouse or shirt to achieve a rather "cozy" look. But that was not enough to buy the bundle, it was cheaper to buy it seperated together with the textures.
FYI the buttons are props in this outfit - we had a discussion about deforming buttons because they are part of the clothing texture - these don't, as they are seperate props, but it could mean you have to, like me, position the buttons yourself.
Fitting with mmx clones to g2f didn't work so well with the cardigan, but using mesh grabber i was able to rather quickly fix it.
A great video about the Hurdy Gurdy:
+1 :) thanks for the render... I'm sold too (thumbzzzzzzz up)

I have to say don't forget to get 3DU's Time Machine too then you get all the ages for the Genesis 9 Cartoon characters , https://www.daz3d.com/time-machine-for-genesis-9
it was a golden ticket item
@hjake and @WendyLuvsCatz: Thanks a lot for all those videos, so very kind of you! Already watched several and am very impressed!
Thanks for the info, always good to know who creates good textures.
I paid about 5 $ for the outfit + textures, and for the bundle i would have had to pay about $20. The only thing i also liked was the handbag in the other outfit, so that was quite an easy decision for me. At a price of $7.85 of course i most likely would have opted for the whole thing, too, lol.
@barbult, I tried the hair on E3D Hallie for G9 (who loaded at subD 4, so I dropped her down to 2), and with part ot the Orenda outfit. I posed with the new https://www.daz3d.com/charisma-cameras-and-poses-for-genesis-8-81-and-9 pose CHA Hypothesis M G9. I found I had to dig a 'LOT' of braids out of Hallie's body, especially her back. When I thought I had them all, I tried simulating, but got this message, 'Error preparing object to simulate and collide'. I should also note that scene info reported the Scene Geometry = 3,978,240. This was on my MacBook Pro M1. So maybe that had some impact on the inability on not being able to simulate the hair. My log says Failed: Invalid buffer size (0 bytes) !
The hair by itself had 2,826,080 vertices. This may be something I can only use on my Win10 computers.
Also, when I removed the clothing, I found there were more braids I missed trying to dig them out of the body before trying to simulate. So it would have exploded anyways. Black hair on a dark outfit was not a great idea for testing. And moving the bones was a pain but I tried. I like the hair, but I would really like to be able to use it in an active pose.

I don't think the hair is meant to be simulated. It is not advertised as dForce hair.If I try to simulate it, I get the same error message that you get.
If you open up Twist Hair Base G9 until you get down to Twist Hair Fibers G9, you will see 'Simulation' show up as a Dynamic Surface, Use Simulation Start Frame.
(I freaked for a moment, opened it up, because I was sure I had seen it. I had.) Could that be an error?
Yes, I know, but when I complained to Daz about another hair product that behaved that same way, I was told that it was not meant to be simulated. I guess just because the hair has strand-based components that are converted to dForce, it does not mean that they can be simulated. They are simply strand-based for their appearance. I returned that other product, because of that.
I really want to like Twist Hair, but so far I can't. I found an included control for head turn, but it moves one of the back strands to the front. Then any attempt to adjust the back causes that one strand to embed itself into the character. Grrrr. The many swing morphs make the hair curl up. I just can't figure out how to pose this hair in any realistic manner. It is frustrating. Maybe I should just concentrate on the front and ignore the back. Maybe I should just try to render and see if the posing effort would even be worth while.
Put it on G9 Base. Possibly using shaders to identify the different groups of hair twists. Pose one way or another, identifing the groups behaviors, until you can determine which poses work best, which are to stay away from and and if turning off the body of your character helps any?
I have the flu or something and my brain can't seem to think through what needs to be done. But barbult, if you can't figure it out, I don't think anyone can.
I have other hairs by the PA @Mihrelle and have never ran into an issue. And I have long African twist braids by other PAs which I have used without issue, across the generations.
I'm making some progress after spending 1.5 hours on the hair on a simple Female waking pose without drastic head or upper body movement. I mostly moved the hair bones manually. I'm still hampered by some of the included morphs that seem to move twists from the "wrong" area of the hair. It does look nice when rendered. Maybe it will be worth the effort. One surprising thing I noticed is that after finishing posing, I applied an expression. That caused the hair to move! But I didn't have the patience to tweak it again.
Isn't it nice to be able to upload images again!
It makes an interesting hair with the twists hidden. Here it is in blonde for better visibility of the details.
Yep yep.... got it! At $2.99 couldn't pass it up ;)
WOW and I thought my $12.49 was a great deal! You must have had more percent off than I did... What's 3d prints???
Today's headliner looks handy (pun only partially intended) so picked that up. Then used the added discount you get and picked up Dax Avalange's new character Yasaki and some older RawArt and RiversoftArt stuff :)
Actually, I wanted to start spending a little less, but Protozoon's 'Roman Legionary Bundle' ruined all my good intentions.
Caligae! Real Caligae! I never thought I'd live to see this...! Probably for the first time at Daz I see authentic Caligae. When I saw these classic Roman soldier boots/sandals, the bundle flew into my cart. But the rest is superb too. The lorica segmentata (body armour) and everything else is authentic and pretty much on point; no fancy fantasy chichi. The poses are also very good; someone has really done their research here too. The Roman legion, which consisted for the most part of infantry, was one thing above all: a stubbornly advancing fighting machine. Overly dramatic poses are only needed now and then.
Wonderful.
The Golden Ticket for today is also great. What a start to the week!
Apparently Calypso was too disappointing to even warrant her own thread, and I completely agree. I'm not interested in yet another Thorne character, the tail looks like fabric pulled tight over human legs, and although Mihrelle has done some great work, I'm not interested in either of the hairs. The clothing's nice, though.
Liked the dresses in the Starter bundle, but the character looks just the same as previous young characters... Why make multiple copies of the same?
Pretty Roman Legionary outfit. I don't have time (neither do I care) to see if every tiny bit of it is accurate. Doesn't matter anyway, still looks better than majority of what you can find on tv.
Edit:
I avoid Thorne characters because they all look so similar there's very little reason to get more than one for every generation. My go to vendor for characters stylized to look like in modern Asian video games with only semi-realistic graphics is Crocodile Liu.
WOW it's fun trying to get those numbers down! You did awesome... I didn't have quite 30 items from the vendor... Think that's what held me back.. oh well... Good job!

https://www.daz3d.com/universal-hands-and-feet-control Yeah, this was a no brainer for me. I just did a render with characters holding hands, may redo that section once I see how this works on G8.1M.
I agree, this looks to be one of the most useful tools I've seen. Reposing an arm or leg is a cinch, but hands and feet often take way too much time to get just right. I'm going to have fun with this one tonight.
ok.. I wasn't gonna git it... https://www.daz3d.com/universal-hands-and-feet-control... but then I saw the promo for the heeled shoes!!!!!!!! OMG... that happens to me all the time... I saw the one click slider for 'heeled shoes'... done... In the cart! lol. Now just need a few more items to get to my $10.00!
