    without my glasses on iPad  Iread that as Yeti instead decided to fix what wasn't (functionality) broken  and thought there's the answer, Hamsters though small are not as clumsy as Yetis

     I'd say "thinking about writing"  still counts as writing. Writers formulate ideas and then put it down on paper; the typing or longhand is only part of the larger process. So, 20% of your day to your writing craft is excellent dedication amidst all the other important things you accomplish in a day.

    In my experience it depends what you try to upload.

    An image gives 'uploading...' but a file, e.g. a zip file gives 'Failed to write to desk'.

    I think it's about the time one makes the attempt. Soon after it stops working "Failed to write to disk", later just "Uploading"

    Not testing anymore as it's seen as useless, but at least other users have some idea of when attaching files may work, ie. try between 6PM and midnight Daztime

    You do ralise that these test attachmenmts are not doing anything useful, and may actually be slightly hastening the failure if it is resource-related?

    They are showing that it's not happening at random, but at certain times of the day, which in it self is a clue if someone was trying to figure out the cause.
    I have already established that attaching files works between 9PM and midnight Daztime, and now it looks that it works already at 6PM Daztime.

    yeah those 137x137 13kb postage stamps would be utterly overwhelming DAZ's image hosting service cheeky
