Here is a cute surfer dude. I actually wanted to do a stereotypical blonde surfer... But it resembled Boyd too much so I changed it up some. Yes he is vibrant. Realy like the swimsuit from Summertime outfit for genesis 3 and genesis 8 males.
And yes another Boyd image. This time using the new flock prop.
When I rendered this, I noticed the little rocks on the ground were above the surface of the floor. I decided I didn't want to re-render this again so I decided to have the floor on fire to cover it up! Posing the female Alien with long claws proved to be a challenge because she is so tall.
I'm going to re-work it though. Just haven't figured out what I want to do with it.
Very cool! I have a folder for those that I want to redo lol. Great sense of action in this one. And both the surfer and Boyd are very well done, I really like the point of view on Boyd.

Posing those fries proved a challenge....plus making ketchup and getting the right color was interesting.. funny thing is most people don’t seem to like it....it is like my least popular render. I’m always curious what renders people like and do not
I do like it since it captures Boyd’s somewhat hammy nature at least as far as Owen is concerned...
Owen and Boyd workout together. I thought this pose was really kind of cute in the personal trainer set..... But I admit getting an interesting angle was a challenge.
I also ran into issues with the fact that a lot of ground in sets looks really kind of bad. I think Beachpod has one of the best sandy grounds I've ran into. And bonus! It's inexpensive.
This hightlights a bit of the size difference between Owen and Boyd. Owen, is by no means small, he's tall for a normal human. but Boyd is bio-engineered and genetically engineered bigger and stronger than the average person.
He can guard the beach I visit any day of the week. Wonderful veins and love the lighting! Boyd's out surfing, I saw him catch a wave.
The flames look great, and the workout is, I agree, a lot of fun. That camera angle did work out extremely well. I'm trying to remember the beaches that I like, Palm Island came to mind because of the gently rolling sand. I darken the base color and increase the bump too.
I'm going through my runtime and rendering some of the guys for Genesis 8.
Owen suffers anxiety after being doused wih fear gas, just one of the many pyschological weapons aliens deploy to attempt to undermine human society.It wears off in a few days...But leaves the victim feeling the effect for day after.

Okay fall is here and only 9 weeks until Christmas so I Want to try to fill the thread with seasonal images .If anyone has a favorite fall activity they'd like to see the boys engage in I'm all for any suggestions. I may try making a turkey again this year.... But my last one was a little funky.....
That is a really neat idea to use blue as the feeling of fear and anxiety. Nicely done!
Fall reminds me of campfires, a lot of people using their motorhomes and mini vacationing, playing in leaves, and there's a lot of fairs in the fall.
Hayrides, haunted or otherwise.
Okay some good ideas. I think I can do hayrides and I haven’t done a camping scene in a while. BBQ would also be fun assuming I have the props and Owen really likes to camp.
Of course one cannot forget Halloween. Surely they still have parties and Trick-or-Treating in their timeline? Trying to pick the just the right costume and finding the perfect pumpkin might be fun.
Hmm... that’s a fun idea who will be what for halloween? Yeah they have Halloween in the future probably a lot more real than today too because of all the bodymoding and VR options available. Gotta keep up morale of the troops and all! And hunting for a pumpkin would also be a good image ! Thanks for those suggestions.
Hmm... I think Owen actually has a superhero costume. He used to do charity events when he was on earth from time to time. He is a deadringer for a popular superhero.
"Deadringer for a popular superhero?" Oh my, I hope he doesn't get mobbed a lot by mistaken fans looking for autographs. That could be a nuisance, especially if it interrupts something important.
he looks like the comic depiction of a fictional superhero character when he combs his hair like him and puts on the suit and works out a bit to get properly pumped up and of course shaves. There are no real superhero’s in his reality but the classics books are all popular and the military participates in morale boosting activities from time to time.
The fact that rather tough hardcore sergeant Owen kelly does anything fun in his spare time would probably amaze the recruits.
in the future though it’s probably not too uncommon to run into people who resemble historic figures like Marilyn Monroe or James Dean. Body modification and genetic modification have reached a phase that you really can alter your body anyway you like add if you don’t like your body you can grow another and get a brain transplant.
One of the enlistment bonuses is a new body at 25 years of service of your choice of gender and race. It is cheaper than paying your bill at the va..to put you in a new body. Of course you have to live long enough to take advantage of it. If you run into a very young soldier he might be a 50 year old navy seal wearing a new skin.
Byrdie suggested this one. you can't see it but Boyd and Owen have quite a stack of pumpkins on that scale. Unfortunately, the scale balance/weights only slide. So there was no way to tilt it up with the weight!
Why do I get the feeling there's some kind of argument/wager going on as to who's got the bigger one? (And no, you do not want to know where else my mind just wandered, especially when considering those pumpkin stalks.)
I had a bunch of things to say to this and decided it might be wiser to keep my mouth shut so as not to incriminate myself....

Heh they don’t compete over that sort of thing...they both have pretty decent pumpkins there..Besides Boyd is new to having a body, and is a bit insecure about the whole body shape business although he does not let it show. . It wasn't too long ago he was a 3 pound brain suspended inside an operator tanksuit. When Boyd chose this body, it was the most efficient at what he wanted it to do- rescue Owen. He did take too much else into account. Now that he has a body it shocks him how much it matters to him that he be liked by Owen. Fortunately he has nothing to worry about.
Seriously, you NEED to write that book. Because I really, really REALLY need to read it.
