    Wood

This uses wood shaders on everything. Even the sky is a plane primitive with a wood shader applied, and a bit of blue in the Base Color.

Even the girls outfit looks like wood... Excellent job L'Adair... :)

L'Adair, your characters seem to be a bit wooden!    wink

    Nice work!

Thank you, bigh, Llola, Dana, Saphirewild, and Ivy.

@Saphirewild, I agree with bigh, that girl has a great smile. I like how the wood in the image is in the background, yet adds a lot to the overall "visual texture" of the image. Well done.

Good uses of wood, peeps :)

I seem to have made something too:

Originally, it was only going to be the stump, the axe and the woodpile, but that seemed a bit bare.

I go away for a short time and return to see all these wonderful renders. March ended with a bang April and May were full of great work and now we have June.

bigh - very well done polished and bright. Reminds me of wall art that should cover an entire wall.
L'Adair - I see Pinochio found a mate and a home. Excellent work as always. Also I saw your May art work made the main page of the DAZ site. Congratulations and very well done.
Saphirewild - You chose a great model and expression for your art well done.
Ivy - Now that gave me a good reason to smile and be afriad of squirrels, great job.
mori_mann - Great seen. I love a good log cabin. I built one in my much much younger days. It only took 4 cans of Lincoln Logs. Do they still make those?
Llola Lane - Chess a classic game and a classy render, well done.

After all this good work I was a bit embarassed to post this month. But, if it makes you smile my shame will fade.

    Wooden Nickles

I don't care if you are my brother, business is business, and I don't take wooden nickles.

@deeleelaw57, I don't see any reason to be embarrassed. This is really cute, and a wonderful idea. Definitely made me smile.

You have been missed around here. I was getting worried. I feel better now that you're back.

Thank you, as well. I hope both images put a smile on your face.

Thank you bigh, Llola Lane and L'Adair. I missed being here and yes L'Adair both renders made me smile A different kind of smile for each one.

I have a long line of smilers in my family. I was told when my great grandfather died it took the coroner a week to wipe the smile from his face. I was also told he died while sitting in the balcony at the burlesque theater.
