    I finally found the error message. Looks like there is an issue with Nabila or End of Summer hair. I'm going to run some tests now.

    quick test render in yellow light. I changed the group ID of Nabila's skin surface.

    Lighting commentary continued.

    Advanced spotlight only; no ambient. I'm just showing the contrast between the light and dark areas. I finally found the morph to fit Genesis 2's feet into the high heels. A dial called Pred_FitShoes controls the morph, not a thumbnail script in the content library.

    fun with sub surface scattering. I applied a green color to the shoes via sub surface scattering. The diffuse color is still red.

    The same scene (minues the green shoes) in Iray. I'll edit the settings after I reboot my computer. Iray makes my computer run hot too.

    CPU rendering is slow. I can't afford a new video card and power supply for Iray. I'll upload the finished version later.

    I meant to change the shading rate but I accidental changed the gamma.

    3D delight with advanced spotlight and 1 distant light.

    playing around with lights and shadows again. The advanced spotlight is below the characters pointing up. Yes, the scene is supposed to be dark.

    playing with Courtly intrigue poses. Genesis human has a fairy morph. I forgot the name of the morph.

    Use Easy Environments with Iray

    1st test: Luminance is set to 10,000. Oops, that is too low.

    edit: I'll update the render soon.

    I'm going to have heart surgery soon. Yay!  I'll try to finish some of my current 3D scenes before I go to the operating room.

    I still don't have a date for my surgery.  I will have an appointment with the surgeon on the August 20.  Maybe he will schedule the surgery on that date.  I still feel sick.  Thanks for asking.

    I don't mean to whine, but living with shortness of breath, high blood pressure and a fast heartrate is no fun.  Thanks for the comments everyone.

    Thanks.  There is a furry convention in Melbourne, Victoria in January.  There is a big easter show with agriculture exhibits in Sydney in March.  I think that there is even a small equestrian show at the royal easter show. I still want to see the Blue Mountain National Park.  I should make a list of all the cities that I want to see and post it in this thread.

    My old friends from high school invited me to dinner next week.  Sorry for the short post but my arms are getting tired.

    I'm going to have open heart surgery next month.  I'm not saying the exact date for privacy reasons.  The surgeon wants to patch a hole in my heart and to replace a leaking valve.

    I need to finish some artwork before I go to the operating room.  Bye
