For this render I tweaked the lighting and tone mapping settings a little.
And my Kalea is actualy a slightly custom shape.  Shortened her to about 5'3" and 65% on the body size morph.

Here's something a little different from what I normaly post.
Went and downloaded a Mazda MX-5 model, and added Iray materials to it, then rendered it up in Studio, using similar tone mapping and bloom settings to my last few images

    Tone Mapping :
    Shutter Speed (1/x) : 2000
    F/Stop : 1.80
    Film ISO : 100
    Gamma : 1.00

    Filtering :
    Bloom Filter Enable : On
    Bloom Filter Threshold : 20000.0

I did one render with the lights off, then one with the headlights on.

A couple more MX-5 renders, this time with Kalea 7 pulling a pinup pose next to the car.

Here's a render I did of Bethany 7 and her new car.

Here's another car render.  It's fun setting up the materials, and getting the paint to look similar to stock colors.

Here's a little render that I did using the Hot Tub set.
The road and sidewalk are just primatives with shaders added.

Here's the Hot tub set from another angle

Here's an Iray render that i cooked up.  Going for a stage lighting type effect.

Here's a render that I did of G3F. The character is a custom shape made using G3F face and body morphs and the "People of Earth: Faces of Asia" morph pack.
She is a short (about 5' 0") petite Japanese character based on the Guitarist/Singer of the Japanese indie band Go!Go!7188.

Another camera angle diferent facial expression

This is what happens when I play with fire...  The candle is the only light source for this render.
btw; I love the intreactive rendering in Iray.  As this was rendering, I was fine tuning the tone mapping and bloom settings.

Here is another render of her using the Hair Lustre Iray Shaders on her hair

Same character again, but in a contemporary setting this time.

On this one I haven't decided if she's early, he's late, or she's being stood up.
And all of the visuals are in render effects.  Zero postwork!

A couple more renders.  With these ones I custimized G3F to look more mature (maybe mid to late 40s?)

Lovely!  I really like the second one, her expression and the use of DOF are beautiful!

The skirt and top are from the Leather Skirt Outfit for Genesis 3 Females
The pose and expression is the same between both renders, just the background, lighting and camera are changed.

Yes and they are both lovely, but with the added background and full pose it adds to the story I think.

Decided to try a scene where the character is getting dressed.

  • Worlds_EdgeWorlds_Edge Posts: 2,152

That looks great.  I think it's hard to pose them getting dressed/undressed.

  • IceDragonArtIceDragonArt Posts: 12,548

    Wow that's impressive!

Here's my first G8M render (OK, it's my second because this the same as my first but with a DOF adjustment)
G8M + G8F + the old Hot Tub set (with the water plane replaced with a cube using a water shader)

Here's a couple of new renders that I did using Olympia 8

So I went and tried out a volumetric lighting toutorial that was posted on the forum.... and it worked!
just over 2 hours for 15000 itterations on a GTX 1060 6GB card. (finished at just over 30% convergence!)

NIce!  I like the hot tub one a lot and the safe render is brilliant!

I'm going to have to try that volumetric tutorial out thanks for sharing!
