Well, here's my latest - lighting, props, morphs, hair, everything I've learned so far. Your thoughts would be appreciated. :)

that render would NOT have used a premade model, not on CGsociety but they DO use photographic resources for textures, as I said, he did his own textures too, unsure if they are photographic or entirely photoshop or both, does not say, I got it off the CGsociety facebook page I "like", it is the leading entry in a competition but as you all saw, they are not afraid to critique work on their forum, we are a bit kinder here %-P.

His comments say no photos used. That is not hard to believe when all the shape is in the model and he did not need Bump or Dis for the details.

CGS can bite me up in a dark place. I have no use for the if you did not make it its not art creeps. If those snobs are so good why do we not see them in all the stores selling their items? HUH?

Not up on that one, A Goddess along or God along. Which is it? A weapon or a form?

Goddess included. Obviously, I wasn't born in the Philippines.

Okay I'm over the Hair thing. I really hoped more folks would jump in and just have some fun for the sake of having fun. Thank you to all who did, you know who you are.

Apologies, my friend, I expected it to last longer and had intended to make some kind of witty comment this morning! I do think you look better with your proper hair, but maybe get the wig out for special occasions.

Wendy, that old man render is absolutely incredible. There's a guy replying with what I consider unneccessary critique considering I just looked at his portfolio and most of his stuff looks plastic. I agree with Anne, I ain't posting ANYTHING over there, they'll just pour petrol on me and light me up!

Umm.. you don't. You use a Plugin/Script file to save as a pp2 prop, then you edit the pp2 file after you position it in the proper place and convert it to a smart prop that way. Doing genesis Is so much easier in 4.5.

Feeling quite ill today and not sure why. Got to go out to see the DWP about me getting a job, so I don't have the luxury of just going back to sleep, which is what I'd love to do!

You take care Barry, and luck with them DWP people, they are the pits for being helpful. THey feel everyone should be happy with Statutory mininmum wage, regardless of how much it really costs to live.

It was, as always, a waste of time.

I have that "Unspecified Ickiness" feeling, just feeling off kilter in general, I'm sure I'll be fine.

I want to do something fun.

Wish you were feeling better BlumBlum. I'm a little on the pooped side today myself. Couldn't sleep last night and then I got a 4 hour nap this morning. I did use my time well, I played with Uber Area Tube lights in 4.5.1.6 and managed to get a render done from the playing. It's in my Art thread if you want to peek ( Your all invited, not just Barry ).

My day started ok, just feeling that post-migraine weariness, nothing to worry about.

    Thanks Pam :)

I think I'd like to start a render today using that new dragon fella. He was rather expensive for one purchase so I want to make sure I like him before I decide to keep him! Will be using Rara for the render, I really want to get all cozy with that software and initial results have been quite exciting considering I'm still a total noob with it.

I just haven't quite got the image right in my head.
