Today is the day after and I don't have it yet.
But they said, it would be before the end of the day, the day after, they still have almost 14 hours until deadline.
true. plus i dont need that product anyway. Free is always good just in case though I would never have purchased it.

I put an item for 4.99 in cart, applied the code, it now costs 5.01 :D
No; but definitely not DAZ+ friendly. The fine print states that it doesn't stack with other offers; so when you you apply the code you get a flat 70% off the base price and no allowance for DAZ+ discounts.
The discounts are there with owning the key item and using 8 tokens, but again not finding even $30 worth to buy, and those items are not worth loosing 6 tokens for. Trimming down and balancing the usage of tokens with earning new ones ends up with $20.01 cart at 80% off... Kind of meh after buying carts for $80-$150 at over 90% off ever since the tokens were introduced.
Daz needs to increase the store inventory for DO stuff released before June 2018 (with Iray materials)
I only liked it the first week when gift cards gave you tokens and when the 5 days of orc hordes was going on, because each day you got increasingly better deals on the orc stuff. So the tokens worked out to 8 by the end of day 5 of orcs. I find the expiration mechanism of the tokens make me mostly not care and not take advantage of the double day, because unless there is something I really want at a great deal, who cares if I earn double tokens that I will probably end up wasting or apply to something I would other wise pass on just to keep from wasting them? It feels like gambling by choosing to spend money on stome stuff I might not care as much about to get a better discount later on on hopefully something I do care about. At least with the ticket punch thing I could buy a daz + item each day for $2 and keep my discount rolling. Then when the big sale items came about, I was ready. Seven days of $2 a day is $14 in a week which is much better then $40-$80 a week to make sure you are ready to mazimize the hopefully awesome upcoming sale. PLUS, the punch discount then continued for as many purchases as I wanted to make during the week rather than one really nice discount which expires at the end of Sunday.
Huh? There's only one weekly item, and the monthly one came out last week.

When did we ever get 4 per week? I only see one, with a second on the first Wednesday of the month. Have I been robbed? I'm in the PC+! Oh, I see...you aren't talking about the free items, are you?

Correct. I'm talking about the new DAZ+ releases, not the free ones. There are usual 4 pay new DAZ+ releases each week; this week we have only gotten 2 so far.
yep, and i didnt buy them at cheap...oh well, i bet they're on sale someday. That mechanical deal is pretty wild looking.
...and the nbew Easter Egg is for G9. Ho hum.
At least the metal shders are useful.
Did you actually get the metal shaders? They haven't shown up for me. There are only a few minutes left in the Daz day. They were promised by end of today.
...no as I mentioned earlier I missed hte first part as I was away all day Saturday until after Daz "Zero Hour" in my timezine (PDT) and only have #s 2, 3, & 4.
I should have said "At least the metal shaders will be useful."
They probably would be useful, but we didn't really get them. Maybe later...
...so basically if you missed the the first day, you get noithing.
As I mentioned elsewhere there are people who have a life separate from Daz.
DAZ tends do do catchups later down the sale so you might still be able to crack your egg ;p
Oh no... Somebody cut the communication lines across the pond. My starving wallet just had heart attack and I'm not even at home yet... I see the number of earned tokens increasing significantly before the end of day.
Just wondering... Does anyone understand, what do they mean with "PLUS A Character Per Week Mix and Match", are they going to start releasing only one character per week from now on?
Wouldn't bother me, as I'm not big on characters anyway for multitude of reasons, but the announcement sounds quite strange...
What do mean "only"? They have been releasing the core charcters at about one every two weeks; so one a wewek would be a significant increase.

Like I said, not big on characters and as I see it, there are new characters released every day.
Old habits die slow
I was just looking at todays MM deals and wanted to test the discounts on a product. It was priced at $41.99. I thought it was a bundle for Angela 9 HD. I clicked it looking for what else was in the bundle and then realized it was only Angela, nothing else, not a bundle.
Embeedded in my mind are the old bundle prices, and even $42 was a bit on the high side after discounting. Yeah.
I think a lot of the gen 9 characters are not that good, but I think the core characters do look really good if you want photo realistic. The skins are so nice. The price for Julia and the 3 add ons for shapes and skins with daz membership disount is $28.52. If you had the the last core character that price would be down and extra 30% which would be $19.64 which is not bad for a brand new core character release which gives some nice new generation variety. I'm thinking about hopping onto that one myself. I don't have the last character so I would be paying the higher price, but the base character, the teen shapes, and the high quality teen skins, seems not to bad. I could use my $6 PA coupon on it as well.
Did you give Julia a look as I describe in the post above? I might be wrong, but I am thinking that on the next several core characters they are going to give a decent discount for owning the previous core character based on the statement about a character a week and showing that we get a 30% discount from having the previous character.
I had looked at the skins and was wondering if they could be used on base G9. That would be good. I've noticed that now that I'm not buying much the pricing overall is rising out of my wallet. Just cannot afford them. It is how DAZ has been for quite awhile. Stay on the gerbil wheel and you can get some pretty good deals. Fall off for awhile and you get left in the dust.
The price for me is $30.09. I'm a DAZ+ member, so you must have something else entering into it.
one thing I have found though, all the G8 clothing I've tried has fit to G9. It is not that way with G9 to G8. I suppose there is a work around someplace.... but, that gives more flexibility in using G9. I am trying to stay away from G9 overall as I cannot afford to get on the wheel and just keep spending on each new generation, especially when a lot of it is repetitious. I have every Vicki since V1 other than V9. I feel like a heretic or something.
So the only thing I have added to this cart is the necessary items to bring down the base price of all newly mad releases and my PA coupon. I have 0 tokens and no special banners.
I have also found so far that G 8 clothing has worked pretty well on G9. I have used gen3 hair as well. Just need a good way to reliably migrate G8 shapes to G9 with out major deformed eyes and feet.
