My main problem is that there's recently nearly zero DO products that interest me in the least, while the amount of other artists' products in my wishlist grows nicely.
I find myself in the same position.
I find myself in the same boat with maikdecker, theflarf, Ragazzine and others on that $10 coupon - Nothing of interest there. That's just how it goes.
it appears to me that DAZ pricing is such that it overides most sale incentives...there are tons of sales requiring at least a $5 purchase, there are a lot of items at $4.99... so it forces you to purchase something higher than the $5 ... maybe even closer to 10. If you look at pricing it is like that in most cases... just as the current deal with $10 off $15, but tons of the products are just under $15. It was stated though that items can be stacked ... I tried that with 2 items that came just above 15 and the coupon said invalid, so it appears to be a crapshoot.
I would have been interested in one (!) item. Which would have been $ 14.69, meaning not working with the coupon. Adding some other cheap item would have worked, but there was none that would have been useful for me and the only one that was at least not utterly useless would have cost $ 4.99. So in the end I would have had to pay $ 9.68 for one item a want and another one I would not want.... so... easy choice to put that one item in the wishlist to wait for a better deal. Like when the item I like goes down to 70% (reducing it to $ 6.30 @70%) or in a $ 3.99 or $ 2.99 sale...
Of course those $ 10.- off for new DO items are surely interesting for people using it for bundles or stuff...

I do think it's generally fair to tie the discounts to prerequisites - after all, it's a store, and its job is to sell things, not to make gifts. And with this one, it wasn't like one of those awful 'buy any one of this here huge selection of 5 very pricey new items that are all lingerie' sales, those really are a terrible counter-incentive. No, I actually feel this was a nice gesture. I am sorry though for those who just couldn't make it work for them, that's always a disappointment.
By the by, my experience is that if a buy-in is, like, 5.00 and you have an item that costs 4.99, it's always worth to give it a try in the cart at least, because sometimes, the coupons do have little margins. And I really hope they don't stop this practice now because I've written about it here ...
Don't mine me over here, cracking up that apparently the D-Day beach landing was "fun in the sun." I feel like we may have had wildly different history classes.
I do have interest in new releases to use that $10 coupon. Like Thimor 9. I don't have interest in having to buy a truckload of other stuff to make an IMO overpriced Mega Bundle like that with Thimor 9 in it acceptable. After throwing out everything in my $100 cart Thimor 9 alone was $15 after the $10 coupon. Too much to pay for a gift.
Was even looking for other >$15 new DAZO stuff to buy instead. Bunny Girls Outfit <$15, bummer. Lots of the other stuff part of bundles. And DAZ have trained me to now longer buy bundle stuff separately 'cause most later bundle sales do not take into account bundle stuff already owned or do take it into account but then offer no attractive discounts.
I'll see what the catch-up for March Madness might bring. My shopping temperature is still subzero
...it seems if you are into G9 there is more of a selection, if you're not, it means slim pickings. I went through the store using the DO coupon filter (along with removing all Daz+ items from the mix) and found only two items that I am moderately interested in that are over 15$.
Coupon orange banner is USELESS!
Only DAZ-ORIGINALS, only new items. Looked in my wishlist and everything I'd want is too cheap, or not a DAZ-O. And since the NEW ribbon doesn't show in the wishlist, it's way too much trouble trying to find something, and REALLY too much trouble to try to find three things that add up to at least $15.

...true the coupon would have been good on "new" Daz+ items as well, but (supposedly) the spring Daz+ sale coming in May.
Ended up getting the Post Apocalyptic Locomotive Truck as it fits with my cyber world settings. Sort of looked like something an inventive vehicle rigger out near the barrens would cobble together..
I think what botheres me the most is wasting my time. I spent WAYYYYY more than $10 worth of my time trying to make that coupon work. Never got it. Wouldn't work no matter what. Not impressed.
...what I found frustrating was that clicking on the "Shop Daz Originals" opened the entire library of Daz O's which included Older content that was not eligible for the coupon. If you search by price (like I did for awhile) it can be a real drag slogging through items that the coupon isn't good on.
kudos on yesterdays one subsale.. .that said "you get this deal if you bought any new release in the past three days" and I picked up a bunch.
And I did buy three new releases in one swoop the other day... but if I log in the day after I buy a bunch of stuff yesterday and log in today and have to buy 2 things to get one deal ... I'm gone.
Not only that I may make a big note "NEVER buy more than one new release" because you won't have something to buy tommorrow. Then Daz runs the risk of my not happening to log in the next couple of days.
Never seen a word "Free" so overused on a sale page as today, and of course every use is paired with "when" :D
I never did find something to spend my $10 coupon on, and I usually can.
That new hospital set is very pretty but going to pass. I have enough things to kitbash something very similar.

Ha! With the 85% off coupon a few day ago I got the whole Josie 9 mega bundle for only $5 more than today's price for Josie 9 alone.

Potentially a good flash sale today if one hasn't already picked up some of the cheap New Releases to meet the requirements of an earlier promotion.
Spent an extra four bucks to save ten and ended up with a cartload of 85-90% off items.
Only downside is that I ran out of things I was interested in after a single cart, even though the coupon can be used 3 times. (shrugs)
I got excited by your post, until I saw that it was only for G8 & 8.1 products. Oh, well... my money likes me better, anyway :-)
None of the G8 items in the flash sale were things I was interested in. So a hard pass.

Um wow. I wonder if it's a mistake that those bundles are listed.
Keep in mind the Weekend in Paris bundle is part of the larger one, too, so don't dupe up on those. Pretty cool though, and no other purchase needed! (unless you want more than 5)
