Hi, every time I try to run a simulation this error comes up.
I have simulated so many outfits and it never happened.
I tried formatting the PC, reinstalling the drivers, and reinstalling DAZ3D but none of that solved...
Can you give me any advice?

Having the same issue but mine is a GTX 1070 ... only thing is I updated NVidia this morning and DAZ won't run simulations since !
The latest game build seems not to like dForce, at least. Try rolling back to the Studio driver if you can.
I have tried and it won't let me uninstall it ....
What doesn't let you uninstall video drivers ? There's no reason for that to happen. Or use Revo eventually, the Rolls Royce for uninstalling anything clean.
Revert to the previous Gamer Ready Driver version (517.48), works just fine. Or install the Studio Driver, as you are less likely to encounter problems with this "Studio" updates.

has this solved the issue for anyone? roll back ? is it because the latest build launched from DAZ3D followed with a new GFX driver from NVIDIA ? it has seemed to happen in the past - but there seems to trail a registry key issue too - ahhh - save us bog!

I'm getting this too. From the little research I've managed to do, it seems NVidia have changed something relating to the API for Open CL in their newest driver, which dForce presumably hooks into. The latest NVidia drivers are readying to support their new RTX 4090 graphics card, so perhaps the new RTX architecture differs in that area.
Going forward, I guess it will be for DAZ to make a change to hook in to the new way NVidia present it. After all, we'll all need to update our graphics drivers at some point.
Switching to the Studio Driver worked for me, thanks for the suggestion.

There is a new Studio driver 522.30, out today, and it is still broken with that version. Will be rolling back to 517.48 Game Ready or maybe 517.40 Studio Driver.
I too have this issue with the latest studio driver. I am going to roll back to see if that works.
Has anyone opened a ticket about this issue?
Just an FYI, rolling back to Studio 517.40 seems to fix the issue, now DAZ Devs and nVidia devs need to have a nice meeting to see where the issue is, I am sure that is already happening.
Indeed, can we get confirmation that Daz is working with Nvidia on this issue? Obviously 4090 users need to update to the latest version of the drivers, but there's also some improvements to gaming made in 5.22 that we'd like to benefit from.
Yeah, I'm getting the same error with an RTX 3090; I updated to studio driver 522.30 and dForce doesn't work.
I get these errors/warnings:
I use the desktop studio drivers; the laptop studio drivers give the same errors/warnings.

Looks like I am in good company and it is just not my computer having this issue. Device manager, drat it, will not let me roll back to the previous driver. So thanks for the driver link that was posted, I can use if I do not find the last working studio version driver I had on Nvidia.

Lovely. With Studio version of nVidia driver 522.30 and latest public build of Daz Studio Pro.
I am not alone, so I discover.
Same issue here with the last nvidia driver. It's really bad when you need to rollback a driver because of one problem in one software : /
Is there a way to get Studio Driver 517.40 now that they're up to 522.30?
I used the link @hansolocambo provided earlier in the thread.
There is a bug (a regession) in the nVidia code affecting OpenCL. Daz studio may be the only application you have that is affected, but that doesn't mean it is the only application affected.

Finding the display drivers that work the best on ones own computer, is just standard procedure. There are no quarantees that the latest ones are always better that the previous ones.

We know that nVidia is investigating a "regression" in the recent drivers.

The error persist throug drivers version 526.47. So for now I'm simulating stuff in my processor IGPU. I hope they fix it soon, I don't want to run old drivers since I also play games.
I've had this crop up a couple of times with BOTH the studio and gaming build during the last few weeks.
Talking to a guy at At Home technical support (a local PC support provider), he said if you are using the Studio version, not to install NVIDIA GeForce Experience, and if you have it installed uninstall it, and to always make sure you're manually installing the Studio version as a clean install.
That said, neither the latest Studio or Gaming one was working when I would run dForce. My question to you Richard is, is DAZ addressing these issues with recent driver udpates?
