Horo : great modeling, beautiful setup, great background colours.
Horo great modeling ( googled to see what it was) and excellent lighting, all in all a beautiful render.
A sci-fi scene using freebies and an Hdri from the Deep Space 2 product
Thank you adbc and mermaid.
mermaid, I cannot see your image. The link in the html file (<p><img alt="" src="https://gcdn.daz3d.com/gallery/image/1299227/1689178973/main.jpg" style="height:540px; width:720px" /></p>) produces an error.
Now it works, same link, strange. And yes, it is a very nice sce-fi scene.
Horo, that's super interesting. These viruses look like spiders. I'm seeing a pattern here, lol.
Thank you NGartplay.
Hi all,
Some wonderful scenes and abstracts here. But I do not see the last entry by Mermaid, unfortunately.
I made some abstracts that I will upload later.
mermaid - the image disappeared again, a few minutes after I updated my post above. Maybe what I saw at that time was from the browser memory.
Sorry everyone, the forum is very weird, the links work sometimes, I changed it again, if the image still doesn't show, I'll post a link from the Pinterest account.
mermaid, the scene has an eerie feel to it. Great sense of drama.
The terrain is from High Resolution Terrains 1, inverted and with a material assembled by textures from the same set. Sky and ambient light by an HDRI from Sunless HDRI Skies and the key light by the sun.
mermaid : awesome scifi scene, all the objects fit well together, wonderful sky.
Horo : Beautiful realistic landscape, perfect lighting and terrain material.
Since there are so many 2D images, I decided to use one : scorched earth from dbwallon on a background plane, added a war robot from J Hoagland
Thanks NGartplay and Adbc
Horo - another outstanding realistic scene, beautiful lighting and materials
Adbc - very nice use of a 2D background
adbc - thank you. Well done robot scene. Good choice of the backdrop image in the fog. It is not obvious that it is "only" a picture. It appears that the "ground" is still the picture. A hint of shadow of the robot or reflection might make it appear as ground on which the robot stands.
mermaid - thank you.
Horo, gorgeous landscape. Shadows perfect, sky beautiful, water excellent
adbc, perfect background forthis mechanical robot. Great render.
Thank you NGartplay.
mermaid, Horo, NGartplay : thank you.
Horo : you are right, it looks like the robot is floating, I tried to get shadows, it did not work at all, I only made it worse, bottom line : the use of 2D backgrounds are not really recommended for me.
Entry to another world : Kaos entry is from Mortem Vetus, the raft from gogiart on sharecg, added victoria4.
Wow beautiful scene Adbc, the atmosphere is awesome
Horo:
- A fascinating "Grouped Tori" image with a beautiful mat.
- Nice "phage" modeling and cool presentation.
- Your "Highres Terrain" scenes are always amating. Great mats.
adbc:
- It looks like some kind of "Space Station". The reflections are cool.
- Cool composition with the Walker. That background fits well to it.
- A cool "Kaos entry" scene, very moody. (Only the oversized skulls and also the much too small raft disturb me a little bit. But only as a mere personal impression.)
Mermaid:
A cool "Deep Space" scene!
@ All:
I am momentarily not Brycing. With up to 30 degC in my room, I avoid endless render sessions with heat-producing CPUs. ;)
Instead, I am playing with (!HERESY SPOILER!) "AI generated" images. -- (I won't paste the direct URL of my AI-Gallery images here, because that AI Site is partially commercial. I am not sure if such a Link would be acceptable for the Daz Forums. -- If you were interested about *what* I make, then google for "Deep Dream Generator" and user name "HuSc".)
Don't worry, I will *never* abandon Bryce! Promised!! -- Sure, some of my AI images are imHo quite impressive and they beat anything which I could ever achieve myself with Bryce, Poser and two weeks of postwork. -- But "creating" AI images doesn't feel the same for me. Their (much random/arbitrary generation) also lacks the due *control* for composing my scene and tweaking each object, textures, mats and lighting to my own likes. Don't worry, I will be brycing again, soon.
PS: I don't want to turn this thread into AI related discussion. I so, we could do this in a separate new thread.
adbc - Interesting scene, beautiful sky. I do not mind the size of the skulls and boat.
hubert - thank you. There is an AI section at the renderosity gallery and though I do not plan to go into that, I look at the new pictures there daily and sometimes I even get an inspiration.
Hubert - thanks for the comment. I don't know much about AI and would love to view your images can you pm me the link, I googled but couldn't find the option for users.
mermaid, hubert, Horo : thank you.
I reworked the Kaos render, after hubert's comment, made the raft bigger and the skulls smaller.
adbc - more realistic this way, but I like the first better nevertheless.
The terrain is from High Resolution Terrains 1, inverted and with a material assembled by textures from High Resolution Terrains 2 and Landscapes under Fantastic Skies. Sky and ambient light by an HDRI from Deep Space HDRI 2. The clouds are from the Sky Toolbox. The moon is a sphere.
Horo : Again a superb terrain with great material, beautiful sky. Thanks for your comment.
Adbc - both versions are beautiful
Horo - another amazing beautiful scene
Thank you adbc and mermaid.
mermaid : thanks.
Some very good images again. Sorry for not reacting per image.
I created one basic abstract scene using a substantial number of cubes (and a sphere). I made them semi-transparent and semi-reflecting, put some spherical lights in them and a spotlight in the scene. I modified lights, position of camera, sky, etc. to get different results. Uploading did not work for me before, but thanks to good advice by Horo, you can now see them below.

Wow, a beautiful collection of Abstracts Hansmar, it's a pity we can't view them here.
