Nora
Something I did over the weekend.
Also Kitty Pryde & Lockheed (X-Men)
Posted this in commons, but I was logged in my old account.
Character portrait, taking a different angle of a scene I used in a new user contest here. I originally had planned to use the Rochelle Gown for this scene but could not get it to cooperate with dforce. This one however has some fantastically fine detailing in the fabric so I don't regret the swap.
Does this still count as Hollywood Glamour?
Really great and fantastic art being posted here. There is clearly a pent-up demand for a basic showcase opportunity here at Daz. I guess we have to be prepared for an even longer gallery lock-down.

Render for tonight...just testing
That's awesome! Excellent work! One of the most realistic renders (even with a dragon in it! lol) that I've seen in a quite while.
Here is a partial render of a comic book cover from the Sep 75, The Human Torch #7 that I did a couple years ago and a re-rendering using the new Matchstick Man product in place of the Human Torch. I also applied Ezra for the Brute 8' body morph to Namor, the Submariner as that build is much more like the comic book cover.
The new DS 4.15 makes the fireflies in Namor's hair worse but the fire flies are present in the original too, just not as bad. The original got 2000 iterations on an intel CPU while the new got 3000 iterations on an nVidia GPU.
I need to intensify the red flames on the body of Johnny Storm in the new render as I am too used to seeing him inked that way in the comics.
A new day, a new portrait. Only 10 left.
I dialed Rin and Kanade and added some shaders to the outfit
Plain G8 Tristan.
This was just something I threw together, I don't usually do portrait renderings.
I'm fairly new to DAZ, after having wrestled with Poser for over 13 years. I'm never goin' back. Here's something I rendered a few days ago, using one very old model that I spruced up with new textures and lights, and a new model I've really taken a liking to.
I've been playing with underwater effects, I like how the clothes came out, next is the hair, and also figuring out that super veiny hand!
That's interesting and unique.
@kuryakin11, I purchased poser almost 10 years ago, and could never understand it. You've been using it all this time, as daunting as it seems it was for you as well. You said you never going back, can you tell me what you think it's plusses and minuses are, especially compared to Daz?
Did a few experiments with G81F and the new skin details resource, https://www.daz3d.com/skin-detail-resource-1
Just a first try. I need to play around with the new shaders a bit Texture used is from Mousso's Aakash, with a bit of freckles via Skin Builder
A last smoke before getting to work
I wonder what kind of work it can be. And what happened to his face? What it a bear? or some kind of human who made that big scar?
It's always a handful when you stuck more than one character in a scene
Okay, who pissed them off? They look badass. (walk in a line cliche)
Here is today's challenge render of mine.
Supervisors who gave them new position and lands. Guess they high up on power already. At least the ones on the side are. hehe
That's one good render. It can work in color as it does in this b/w redition
So needed to show this off Loving my Kittys and Dogs!!
"Faye"
One of my ongoing efforts is achieving a high degree of realism, especially with landscapes and scenes, including portraits. Here's my latest attempt, with Bluejaunte's Faye G8F young lady figure, but with the more recent HD Ensley shaders and close DOF. I also used the eyes from Raiya's excellent HD eye geometry for G8 figures, giving more realistic moisture and iris reflectivity. The figure was rendered at subdivision level 4. This is a large file (1800x14400, and best to view at full zoom. The render is not photo-realistically perfect, but it's getting there. I am still just using standard Iray rendering - Octane and Blender and other engines will have to wait for me to invest in a most recent NVIDIA rig and set up. Victoria 8.1 and the latest Studio iterations may help achieve even higher levels of realism on this platform. Hope you like it.

Just in time
created using facegen, various morphs and other plugins. The two singles and the girl on the car in the middle are 8.1 versions I did
Nothing more iconic than him when it comes to Hollywood, I think.
