    This was in regards to the Isetta and the way I spelled Irkel rather than Urkel.  Thought I posted it, but it was waiting for me here when I revisited.  Hmm.

    next bike up -- Russian 1949 IZH 350cc 2 stroke..  at first, I though there was an error on the model, as it had  both a hand and a foot shifter, but some digging showed that to be actually correct..

    Of course - the Russians also had a military version

    What in the world is that on the neds of the exhaust pipes?

    that style of exhaust tip was quite the thing back then.. mostly for "looks"?  although the BSA Bantam, and a bunch of DKW 2 strokes had them as well, so perhaps for a bit of back pressure, which you do need a bit of in 2-strokes.

    Thanks, but I'm specifically looking for a 1977 Firebird. The Rendo version looks like a 1979.
