adbc: Even before I saw the title I thought: "He, a mask". Very nicely done and indeed, terminator-like.
ed3D: Wouldn't touch that hot rock! You may consider making the render a bit more interesting (and moren abstract) by e.g. adding some (partly) reflective forms around te scene and show the box and smoke from various sides at once? And the lady in the bubble is a very nice one. I like most of that album, though I start to loose interest during the psychedelic breakfast, which has too little music for my taste.
ed3D - Hot Rock is nicely done. I think it needs yet a bit of "abstraction" around it.
Now the updated version of Atom Heart Mother is really very much better.
@mermaid010... Folds and Ribbons... very beautiful... @hansmar... Chess Pieces is very nice... great reflection @adbc... Watchful Eyes... Really deep and gorgeous @ed3d... Hot Rock... another interesting image, Atom Heart Mother...as well
So, this will be my third entry. I think I will skip the one with the glass chess pieces. Difficult choice, if I suddenly have four options!
So, my first one is the museum with abstract art and ‘not a young Rembrandt’. My second one is the second version of ‘to the core’ (April 30) and this is number three.
I tried to create a scene that goes from realistic to abstract with some middle ground. I think I succeeded, though not as perfectly as I would have liked. I used a lot of instancing for grass and abstract grass-like things.
Hansmar - very cool image and a great concept. Very “Twilight Zone”.
My second entry: “Probe”.
A small. reflective sphere inside a large alpha trabsparency sphere, Illuminated by the Bryce sun and a custom made HDRI, which also servers as the backdrop.
