    I lived in san antonio 4 months in the 80s. I moved in was a size 7. 4 months of san antonio delicious yummies returned to new york a size 12. Never recovered my size 7 figure. Dohhhh.

    Thanks for the kind words, everyone.  The immediate result is chaos.  

    Bunyip - yup, eventually should have more time for carrara, etc.  But in the short run, maybe a lot less.  Just have to see how it goes.

    SteveK - thanks for Texas link.  I had never heard of Granbury before.  Not sure it is for me, but the information at the link was excellent.

    Stezza -scrape that rust off the barbi!

    Mystarra - Between fajitas and breakfast tacos, I could easily pack on another 30 pounds if I go to San Antonio.  Yum.  Maybe I should go to Las Vegas.  Would not put on as much weight, but I might lose my retirement at the roullette table.  surprise

    A bit off-topic...

    I liked it. Sure, they get some stuff not-entirely-accurate, omit some fairly important stuff, but don't all movie makers need to do those things?

    I was a long-haired glam rocker in those days too... Loved it! "Zeke" I was known as - short for Zekiel Raven. When I sold drums for Guitar Center, I broke all the rules but was unmatched on moving product. Pearl Drums contacted me about creating a new line of drums for the younger crowd - and we came up with The Tommy Lee Pearl Export! Wild ride... and fun too!

    Just to help get you into the mood... according to the movie's story, this is the first song they make together

    ...and then take a walk on the Wild Side!

    Completely different aspect ratio back then. Doesn't seem that long ago, actually....

    LOL! There aren't many (I can't find any) pictures of us from back then. Someone has some, I'm sure... but not me.

    I did just recently find an old video of us backstage before a show at City Center Theater April 18, 1992 and grabbed a still frame from that old, low-rez video cam!

    Yup... that's me! Wearing a crazy, red barret that I only wore that once! LOL
