This is a great idea.  So in order to get it shown with the product, you need to choose the product from the drop down menu list of items used when you load your gallery image correct? I have the Armory of the five realms ones, but haven't used them yet.  Will work them into a couple images over the next several days.  I laso just picked up the Amazon Warrior outfit like two days ago lol.

I always think of Dreamland Models for Victorian-era city blocks and homes. This looks like a good one in a totally different direction: Japanese Garden

@Etamin   Well, to answer your hand question- if you just use Scale, you'll get results of course, but it's hard to answer about shrinking the fingers, etc because what I used appeared to be custom products. They had red sliders. Not sure how to find out he product name, as when I right and left clicked, there were no go to file options. Shown is the normal, then Scale 72, then tweaked with custom morphs such as shorten fingers, shorten palm.  I can't remember if there is a way to find out a product which isn't labeled- ideas?

Well, the forums are doing it again, saying no file loaded when it does.  Just click on these and click back and forth, and look at the hand on your left.

Right, if you don't list the product, it won't show up on the Product Page.
TIP:  When you post a gallery image, and just start typing in the product used, normally it will auto fill  and sometimes NOT WITH THE RIGHT ONE if you don't do hypens and spaces right. (Sci-fi, SciFi, Sci Fi) . ALso, when given choices, be careful to choose the right one. Several are VERY close. (Like say BabyDoll and Baby Doll for an outfit. Or dForce BabyDoll)  Then it may take a couple days to show up on the Product Page for people who have the Daz Deals app.

Oh hey, that was fast. The Fiona gallery image is already showing up on the product page..  Really cool to see!
So I am still confused as to why my Helena with TWENTY EIGHT likes took weeks and weeks to register, and it definitely was beating the numbers of the majority of the ones that got posted sooner.

Julienne HD (Gen8F)    MayWeather Outift (Gen8F)    Channen Hair (Gen3/8F)

Modern Washroom  is a mixture of good and "hope I'm wrong" features. (There's always that possibility. Double check me if you have this product.)
Problematic. Forum members have firmly stated they DO NOT WANT this, and unfortunately, this set does exactly this so far as I can tell:

    1. the floor AND walls are all one piece
    2. the room is very narrow/small so the walls ARE going to get in the way. You have very, very few camera angles/shots you can do
    3. you can't select the walls in Surfaces either.
    4. you can't do anything with that washer/dryer. There's zero functionality. Doors do NOT open. Looked in Scene and Parameters. You try to rotate just the door, the entire thing rotates.

I know you can go wide lens with the camera, etc. and TBH I haven't done much with that so other people may be very successful with this set using it.  This room isn't very long to start with so not sure how that would work.

    On the good side:
The toilet lid does raise. The materials are really nice throughout the set, and the roses are a nice touch.  A city "scene" is included for the outside view from the window.

I will post a few tips on the lighting for the render in the next post.

"It's GOT to be in here."    Gallery Image HERE.   (Already showing up on product page!)

The Chroma- Key Green Screen Studio make a great quickie backdrop for a garage/warehouse. Renders fast too.  This is the one I used as a gallery image portrait type for Julienne.

I love this promo render- look at the helmet and sword left in the dust!  If I were the horse, I'd dump that dude's hiney to lose the weight and get my booty out of there!

    Very clever @designanvil   yes

Where do those images appear on the product page I did not see it and I have also looked elsewhere still don’t see your image associated or correlated with the product page

It's part of Ati and Overdrawn's browser add-on. It looks like this:

If it has gallery images its right under the price.  It will says gallery entries with this product x amount.  If you click on that link it will pull up an image of the first 9 I think it is and a link to see more

Oh, add-in. I see. You'd think this was something daz could or would do for purchasers and users of their products.  I looked at a lot of product pages and was thinking these girls are crazy. :-).

    Thanks I appreciate the info.

@cismic   If you don't have that add-on, you're not able to see the past history of the prices (which show prices BEFORE additional discounts are applied, aka if you get an additional 10% off when buying two, etc)  The gallery images are nice because you can see a variety of renders, and many will surprise you. :)

@Novica  Thanks for demoing the Count hand scaling.  I was hoping there might be morphs included, but the product page only lists 'full shape apply/remove', so it looks like he is all or nothing, and then whatever other morphs you dial in.  With regard to identifying morphs in the Shaping panel, I don't know any way of doing so other than the name - some PAs prefix their morphs with their initials, so that would narrow down the search, but there doesn't seem to be any menu or right-click option.

@cismic I find the add-on extremely useful.  Apart from the ability to see pricing over time, I always check the gallery image links when considering a purchase.  The PAs or their promo artists can only do so much to portray an item, and will have one pespective.  To the detriment of my wallet, I may end up puchasing an item which, at first glance, I think 'how would I ever use that?'  The creative use/misuse/kit-bashing by community members is a gerat addition to the promo renders, and as @Novica says will often surprise you.

ETA:  Also, just below the Gallery Entries section, there will be a 'Forum references to this product' section if the product is mentioned.  Many of those links point to these threads, and are again very helpful for purchase decisions.

Could someone please do me a favor, I don't know if it is my computer that is messing or if it's something else. But on Ravi HD there is a image with him and a big cat (leopard or the like) but when I try to open that to look at it, I only come to the use galleries main page, not the image itself. The other images works so it's only that image that is causing me problem, and I'm curious to look closer at it. If any of you could see if you have the same problem as me, so I know if it is on my end or the gallery end so to say.

And if any of you know the image/the maker of the image it would be even better ;P

    *hugs you all*

    It's not you.

Either the image has been moved to a Private gallery, (or the gallery it's in has been changed to Private,) or the artist pulled the image down all together, but the thumbnail is still available.

    I've PMed you…

    Just now getting back online-
Yesterday, the gallery was messing up for me too. When I would click on one of my image (which IS there) it would take me to the main gallery page, but also back to the main shopping page!  The first time, I looked down to see if my wrist had hit the shift bar on the keyboard, but when it happened the second time on a different image I knew it wasn't me.

Off to see the new items for today!

Thanks @L'Adair! Got to see it now :)  @Novica that image has been messing for a long time, I just finally got too so curious about it I had to ask ;P

VYK Banshee (Gen8F)        Steampunk Time Machine      dForce Wasteland Momma Outift (Gen8F)

Here are two more from the "need gallery renders" list. The gallery link is here
The Wasteland Momma outfit is good for period pieces or "poor" appearance wear. The bloom was all set up for the lights (as were the lights) when you load the scene. I loaded and rendered.

It's really, really strange. I double checked ALL those products when I posted how many renders they had in the galleries- and Banshee definitely had zero. I checked it when I chose it, I checked it when I posted and checked the links.  Now she has four, including mine, and some, if not all, of the other three were in place prior to yesterday. What gives with the app? Showing zero yesterday?

Sounds odd for sure. When I checked Banshee earlier in your link, she had zero as well. I found it odd that BD Hilde had zero images too, and that DG 200 iris color didn't had more than 1 (one of mine) so I made one with Hilde, the iris colors and some other thingies. So now there's a few more images for some products... the demure II pose set has a total of three images.. all mine :/ Hilde has one, iris color has 2 (both mine) *shake head* Oh well, I'll try to make another with Hilde, one where she hopefully don't look pissed hahaha

That steampunk time machine looks interesting - is she standing in it or on it tho? I can't quite work it out. I'm curious how long your render took - it looks like a heavy product.

Just a thought, but… the code can't attribute images if the product isn't listed. Maybe your post prompted some artists to go back and add the products used to their gallery images, to get the exposure. I'm guessing the ratio of viewers to participants, (lurkers to posters, if you prefer,) is at least 2 to 1 for this thread. Probably higher. So it's quite possible.

She is standing on the lowered door :)
It took about 38 minutes on the Titan.

HeLloO all!  Apologies if this is OT, but google & crawling/searching the forums didn't give me any clues and there's a lot of experienced people here, so.... Anyone know why shaders won't work correctly on some surfaces of a model, but work perfectly on the rest of the selected surfaces?

Specifically:  in DS 4.10, using Iray to render, on a model I'm tarting up (Modern Classy Car by TruForm at RMP) I'm changing out the (poser) original textures for Iray shaders, and it's going great except... on a small number of surfaces, the shaders just don't work right. They do seem to pick up a basic color from the tiling maps in the shader, (the base color beside the map is set to PURE WHITE) but don't show the patterns or the variations in color. For example, a wood shader works on several dashboard and door trim pieces, showing all the correct color and pattern details of the wood, but on a couple other trim pieces, the rendering shows just a smooth, single color of light brown that seems to be roughly the average of the various colors in the wood base color/pattern map in the shader.  I have tried a *number* of shaders on these trim panels and the results are always the same: some of the parts/surfaces render the shader correctly and these few obstinate parts/surfaces do not render the shader details.  I tried applying 3DL shaders to the parts, and rendered with iray and again, the "bad" surfaces/parts showed the general color but none of the details of the shader. I thought going to 3DL shaders and then re-applying the Iray Uber base, then an iray shader might "reset" the surfaces, like, clear up the problem, but it did not change anything.

Since the "good" parts that shade correctly and the "bad" parts that don't are basically the same size & area, I felt that TILING was not an issue here, since the "good" ones showed the details correctly and the tiling was great, but I did try changing to *numerous* different tiling values and combos, from very small to very large and no change ever made ANY DIFFERENCE at all visible in the rendered outcome for the affected surfaces.  I had a vague notion that maybe the surface was backwards or somehow not kosher so I used the geometry tool to select one of the "bad" surfaces and then tried the "flip normals" and this also did nothing to fix the problem.   The original textures (for Poser) in the model's interior pieces were TILING textures, so I can't understand why a random few of the surfaces/parts just won't act right.

    Anyone have any ideas?

I've found that with TruForm's vehicles/environment sets, some of the surfaces are not actually UV mapped, so they can't acept image based shaders correctly.

I was beginning to wonder if UV mapping (or lack of) had something to do with it, @zombietaggerung  but  since  there were square tile images present for pieces in the original poser-format textures, I thought that it was uv mapped--or, it wasn't and did not need to be. :)  THANK YOU for the clue!  :)                   Is there a way to set/create uv map for just some surfaces in an existing model in DS?
