In some districts here they're experimenting with several bins (metal, plastic, organic, etc.) in the household, so things are fully sorted already from the beginning. Probably the most efficient method, provided that people take it seriously and know how to sort things correctly.

I used to walk miles gathering aluminum cans too; to buy things before I was 15 and old enough to get a job legally. People were very nice, they'd bring out their bags full of aluminum cans and give them to me even when I told them I was just buying something selfish like a bike or baseball equipment.

So, the dog 8 stuff is my addiction. I went through and bought each item individually so I could get the freebie daz original animals.

One of the sets, the 3 amigos is 1.6 gig!!

Just discovered a product no longer in the store. If you have Japanese Walled Temple, you got it before it went POOF. Anyone know how long it's been gone? I bought it in 2015.

So Morenus Hair (by Phil W) is not in the store either?

  • NovicaNovica Posts: 23,887

    Neither is Spiked Curls Hair.

How are you figuring out what is not there?

Having fun today going through my hair, I own so much stuff I wanted to look at it again. So when I am in my studio and want to see a closeup of something, I go to the Product Library or the DIM and if pages seem to be missing, I check on the store search or Google and see if it comes up.  The autofill for the store search shows me that others have searched for it too, and I do get the "not found."

Product Library was awful for the searches frankly. For Paul Curls hair, nothing came up for Paul at all. Then five minutes later, without even refreshing the page, I searched again and it did. And all I typed was "Paul" both times. It wasn't a spelling challenge LOL.

No, but thanks for trying. It's Morenus Hair and it's under Phil W in the Content Library (Hair, Gen3 Males)  It's a nice short hairstyle. Nothing comes up over at Rendo, at normally I name my files REN so I know it's not from here. It's not in my order history there either.

This is from the Morena hair page Morena Hair is a classic short to medium length side-parted hair which has both realism and versatility by the bucketload! It features models for both Genesis 8 and Genesis 3 and for both Males and Females (the male version is called Morenus Hair)

A couple renders of DM's Lorenzo character.  He's quite lovely!

Blond version has adrian hair and cool style shirt.  I'm using boss lights on all versions.  Dark hair is classic side part.  In the last render, he is wearing streetwear jeans for genesis.  I learned about it in some of the threads discussing the lack of male clothing and also realism.  It was apparently made by stonemason.  Anyway, I'm glad I bought it.  I hope he makes more clothing.  He gave a glimmer of hope in that thread!  The character is using a black market blade weapon.  It is a great set of weapons and comes with included poses AND expressions.

I too really like Lorenzo. His face in particular is excellent.

Well some idiot cut a fiber optic cable and most of our area is out of internet. It’s so bad they said agents will not be available, then later when I called back there at least was a special message telling the problem.

Ugh! was someone digging without calling for underground lines to be marked?

    The recording didn’t say. Probably.

There is supposed to be fibre optic in my area but far as I can tell only government offices get access to it. It would be nice for Kodi foreign TV channels but not much else really.

I'm back up. They always give a worse case scenario, said it would be 3:30 and it was about 3 so they were close. :)

Morenus and Morena are the same hair (M/F versions). I believe they were originally going to be separate products, but got merged at the last minute.

    "Come Back Boy"

I use to ride a unicycle (still have it in the garage) but never did try to walk a dog while on it! Instead of messing with bones to position the leash, I used dForce with a helper ellipsoid to get it in position.

This iis Eren which I picked up today from the fast grab sale wearing Textured Bob Hair for Genesis 8 and 3 females. I do love it when a hair set is designed for both G3F and G3F. The lighting is Rim Light Rig Iray which I also picked up during one of the recent sales. I'm still learning how to use this light set and I like the effects I can get with this product.

This image is pure render. I've also done a lightly postworked version which is on my art thread. I have a soft spot for toon characters and I think she'll definately be a good addition to my G3F pool of figures.

Oh that is neat! The leash has a nice dip and looks quite fluid/flexible.

Just got back from Sears, for the last time. They close this store in 5 days.

Now the entire second story is sealed off, nothing up there. I don't know how they are doing the pricing, it said 75% off, but my son got 2 pair of 12.50 pants ($25) plus two $5 shirts (10.00) (and this is more than 75% off the original price, so who knows?)  so it was $35. And THEN I only had $6 in Sears Cash points, so $6 off $35 is $29.   I got charged $19 for all that!  Don't know how that other $10 got taken off, but fine!

What you never want to see from a store that has been around since 1892. Started in Chicago, Illinois. Sears isn't going out of business, it's closing a LOT of stores though.

Sadly it will eventually go the way of Montgomery Ward (a.k.a. monkey ward)

JC Penny is next. Sad thing about all this, Toys R Us JUST opened a mega store (brand new, they totally redid this huge mall. Beautiful white sandstone, ultra modern, all buildings) and were there less than TWO YEARS. They closed last month. Sears is two doors down. Now them. JC Penny is next to Burlington (which hopefully is doing fine) but Penny's has been struggling worse than Sears. Sears got a surprising offer for the building apparently, which made them close sooner. (Costco is coming in according to employee rumors.)

Malls are a dying breed.  Too expensive and too many people either shop at walmart or target of they shop online. It is sad to see an era come to a close like that.

  • nonesuch00nonesuch00 Posts: 18,131

I don't go to a mall or any of those stores like Sears, Penny's or so on because they cost more than WalMart and they didn't keep the malls they are in interesting. Also, I found all those little kiosks in the hallways of malls annoying and cluttering the aestetic of the mall. To me those kiosks seemed to be for the mall to try and milk every last penny of it's mall space regadless that those kiosks disturb peaceful shopping desire by customers. Kiosks make malls look junky and cheap but the prices they ask for tell another story.

I like sears and old navy but my mall days are over. Crowding, parking and high prices and thin poor quality women’s wear at higher prices mean the wise consumer shops online or at bargain stores. Both big malls in my area are also 25 minutes away. Target and Walmart are 10 minutes away.

Nice. However, given how fast that dog is runing, and pulling that rider, his leash should be pulled taught, not loose and dipping.
