These are the basis of all three models... using the replicator tool to create the walls and columns from these simple models I made..

Other items were just cubes and spheres and cones of which there was one of each then duplicated which where then resized and made the rooves and floors

    wacky hey surprise

    thought I'd do a Toon!Pro render... mmm

it doesn't pick up that replicators are used.. but the NPR does..

Hmm, very interesting. I think the coverage pass picks them up as well. Thanks for sharing the building blocks!

You could always turn them into 'real' instances, then do your render and then delete them ':)

Amazing models.  The plane is perfect.  The architectural models have great detail.  I haven't tried Sparrowhawke's duplicate modeling plugin. So many new tools!

    Very inspirational.  yes

when I modeled my helicopter for one of the Challenges I also modeled another one at the same time and promptly forgot about it frown

anyways... I was rearranging my folders and moving stuff about yesterday when I found it and thought gees.... I forgot about that one.. so I kinda finished off a couple of things on it and if anyone would like the CAR file just post here and I'll attach it to a post..

A World War II pilot is reminiscing before school children about his days in the air force. "In 1942," he says, "the situation was really tough. The Germans had a very strong air force. I remember, " he continues, "one day I was protecting the bombers and suddenly, out of the clouds, these fokkers appeared.  I looked up, and right above me was one of them. I aimed at him and shot him down. They were swarming. I immediately realized that there was another fokker behind me.". The teacher stands up and says, "I think I should point out that 'Fokker' was the name of the German-Dutch aircraft company"  "That's true," says the pilot, "but these fokkers were flying Messerschmidts."
