tres excellente! :) very impressed Wendy.
oh dear Stezza, that is truly masterful. Now for the Uvees :)
triplanar works a treat
These are the basis of all three models... using the replicator tool to create the walls and columns from these simple models I made..
Other items were just cubes and spheres and cones of which there was one of each then duplicated which where then resized and made the rooves and floors
wacky hey
thought I'd do a Toon!Pro render... mmm
it doesn't pick up that replicators are used.. but the NPR does..
maybe I missed a setting somewhere
Hmm, very interesting. I think the coverage pass picks them up as well. Thanks for sharing the building blocks!
You could always turn them into 'real' instances, then do your render and then delete them ':)
yep... can do that
Nexy Wacky Model is a WWI TriPlane...
I'll attach this model when done tomorrow probably ( if anyone is interested in it ).. was thinking of doing some muzzle flashes and a prop blur for it. I added some flap morphs for it
Amazing models. The plane is perfect. The architectural models have great detail. I haven't tried Sparrowhawke's duplicate modeling plugin. So many new tools!
Very inspirational.
Thanks @Diomede .. very encouraging from you..
I managed to get some muzzle flashes done and a prop blur..
I'll post the model tomorrow after I get it all together with the textures etc..
This is what it will look like... for your experimentation and enjoyment.. I'll also add an udated Snoopy with his scarf, flying head gear and kennel as well..
Gonna go watch TV now... I'm batching!
TriPlane attached with textures for the propblur, muzzle flash and cross. Have fun doing your thing
and Snoopy on his kennel. with added hide ear morph for his flying head gear and added a scarf.
Have fun .. with doing more weight painting on him
can't help but think Carrara users give inspiration to others.... happens too often to be a coincidence.
when I modeled my helicopter for one of the Challenges I also modeled another one at the same time and promptly forgot about it
anyways... I was rearranging my folders and moving stuff about yesterday when I found it and thought gees.... I forgot about that one.. so I kinda finished off a couple of things on it and if anyone would like the CAR file just post here and I'll attach it to a post..
Get in the Chopper!
Get To Da Choppa!
Another great model! Darn, I could have used this in the Tomato Challenge.
Thanks @UnifiedBrain lol... that would of been awesome, that was a great render as it was
I may do another fokker... HARS is restoring the Southern Cross plane so may have a go at that... or maybe the Tiger Moth
Started on the Tiger Moth... my old man used to belt around in one of these in his downtime.. was his favourite plane after the Hurricane
still a bit to do on it...
Here you have my Tiger Moth model.. it has a couple of morphs to open doors and a prop blur .. feel free to add to it, like maybe the instrument panel and stuff..
Experiment and have some fun rendering.
Woohoo, Christmas Day already - many thank-yous !!!
lol
no probs... I hope you get some use out of it or even improve on it
wow, how did I miss this, thanks for the planes!!! can't wait to blow them up ;)
look forward to seeing the planes blown to bits in a render
@Diomede is in need of a chicken model..
I did model a wacky one quite a while ago for my 3d dogs to play with...
find attached in zip file here for your enjoyment
Here we go Stezza, couldnt bear to blow them up. Coupla Fokkers and a Sopwith = sopwith courtsey of PhilW's tutorial.
Nice !!!
Another dogfight....
Fockker has 2 K's. :)
I looked at the image and immdediaty thought aha a Camel is having a go at those 2 Fockkers
ah, then you haven't seen the movie? :)
Aha , a woman after my own mind! :)
Bunyip02, thanks, great viewpoint with yours,
A World War II pilot is reminiscing before school children about his days in the air force. "In 1942," he says, "the situation was really tough. The Germans had a very strong air force. I remember, " he continues, "one day I was protecting the bombers and suddenly, out of the clouds, these fokkers appeared. I looked up, and right above me was one of them. I aimed at him and shot him down. They were swarming. I immediately realized that there was another fokker behind me.". The teacher stands up and says, "I think I should point out that 'Fokker' was the name of the German-Dutch aircraft company" "That's true," says the pilot, "but these fokkers were flying Messerschmidts."
