Lol
it’s still rendering
I can see them as toys you find in Kellogs corn flakes packets :)
all good things come to those who weight ;)
yep.. always looked forward to shopping day when I got home from school to see what was in the packet
I'm going to model another wacky thing... and it has a ivories to tinkle
so I started with the keys and here they are for you to download and experiment with..
the rest of the model I'll post tomorrow if I can finish it... it's about 95% done.
download attached in zip
Thank you. Getting ready for some Ragtime!
let the singing begin lol
'The Calliope crashed to the ground'
Car file attached in zip .. enjoy experimenting with it.
I always wondered what a calliope looked like
there is a Carrara in Qld too I have actually been there on holiday
I think you mean Calliope in Qld Wendy...
Also
In Greek mythology, Calliope is the muse who presides over eloquence and epic poetry; so called from the ecstatic harmony of her voice. So could use my model and her in a render with a poem for your challenge thread... hmmmm
my model is just my impression of one... there are more fancy ones than that but I'd be modelling for a month if I did one! lol
yes did,
but there is also a Carrara on the gold coast, that's what I was saying and been there passing through, is where I first heard the name, before learning of the sofware! not been to Calliope, I actually thought the song refered to the Greek muse but a Hurdy gurdy thing crashing to the ground sounds far less painful
......revved up like a duce sounds so much better than wrapped up like a douche which I misheard as a teen

Thanks for the freebies !!!
no probs... hope to see some renders with them included...
is awesome to see some of my models used in Wendy's Carrara Challenge so cool
wow Stezza, you are coming along in leaps and bounds - so classy!
thanks for the freebie - I can feel a song coming on
Calliope, not to confused with Cassiopeia
Started another wacky model today, a Leaning Tower using 'replicators', Sparrowhawks 'duplicate on', Carrara's formula for the torous and just some vertex modelling..
I'll probably do it again tomorrow to fix up some things like the columns.
Really well done, Stezza!
Thanks UB
Redid the columns and some arches and stuff for version 2..... of the wacky leaning tower
you are lgoing to be the Jack Tomalin of Carrara at this rate
I did start making morph targets for your keys but realised its going to take a while and best I could do for a flat symbol in the names was some obscure cryllic leter I cannot even paste here, then theres the matter of animating them to a tune
cool stuff Wendy...
I wouldn't know the difference between a F sharp and a treble clef...
afraid put it on the backburner for now
well I made a dish drainer
my original rough .car file before Zbrush prettyfying

hope not highjacking your wacky thread Stezza with my dirty dishes!!! prob should have tossed it in the WDJ thread
Thanks Wendy
Definately you could give Jack some competition !!!
That is very cool, the kind of thing that can make an animation scene work. I recently saw a lecture on mise-en-scene, this is a good example. It could really set the tone - time period, status, etc. How many people know what that is? There are kids who don't know what a pay phone is ...
yes too dated by looks for the person I made it for, she hasn't responded, my current plastic one is actually very similar in style, in her thread she didn't specify what shape style she was looking for so just took a wild guess, most people these days have dishwashers I think.
great stuff Wendy..
ours has a bit at the front for the spoons and forks and knives..
all wacky models done in Carrara can be posted here.. more the merrier
some more wacky models of buildings using replicators galore...
oh wow you are building Rome
